Good work guys, we have to spread the word so that people watch the show! I'm trying to get all my friends and family to give it a shot.
-
Wow - that is VERY cool.
-
Doug - go for the Moore sig. I would do it if I were you.
-
With any luck a complete 1-24 signed by Moore
That is going to be amazing, Jeff!
-
Wow Doug, that is awesome! I love the sketch.

I need to get a better (non-cellphone) pic, but here is my new baby

Ah if its 9.6 I'd be keeping it my self... if its less than 9.6 is what I'm worried about ...
well, if it makes you feel better, i did offer a guy $170 for a 9.8 once. he declined (ebay seller) and it ended up going for $78 or $79, and that was when the tv show was first announced. Hell i sold a raw one for $45 that was probably a 9.4 or 9.6 months ago.
I remember you selling a #19 for big money one time...

Jerel!!!
Hey, buddy.

I finally read the first two arcs, somewhat expecting to be disappointed, especially from both the hype, and the fact the it seems this book was written directly to appeal to me, which is almost always a let down in reality. I was not at all disappointed. I freaking loved it. Great book, great presentation in the hardcover ($23 on amazon currently), great everything. I'm glad I already have most of the scarce stuff for it because I think I'm going to have to go completist on this one.
Awesome! Glad you liked it.
Sorry, I don't know anything about Rob's rates, though. I'm sure someone will come along who does....

WTTB!
+1
Thanks guys.

Hey, I just realized it's my one year board anniversary.

just a heads up, as that #1 SS could look cheap...
there are 2 Walking Dead #75s, both different variants
signed by the cast and crew and Kirkman, Adlard and Rathburn...
both are 9.9s...both signed by 11 people
That is all the info I have right now...
Crazy!
-
What's with the "2 3" at the end of the title on that one?
Search result manipulation i'm guessing
Yes. If I remember correctly, the same seller also had #2 and #3 SS 9.8s up - not sure if they're still up as I'm too lazy to look right now.
-
Maybe I need to crack my #1 9.8 and get it signed...
-
and i have dealt with this ebay seller before--he is a little rude but overall it was fine
Ohhh....THAT guy...

Has anyone else noticed the crazy prices that WD #1 9.2s and 9.4s have been going for lately?
Hi Kathryn
Yes that is why I put my 9.6 up for crazy $
Hey Doug.
I didn't see your book was up - I'll look for it. Good luck!
-
Here we go:
It was up before, but now it's at auction and not a fixed price. I will be interested to see what it sells for.

I dont think I've ever posted my sketches in here:
Those are cool. I've never seen a Kirkman sketch that big before! I think I've seen a small one once.
Speaking of sketches, I just saw a sweet Moore sketched WD #8 on the bay...

That's pretty damn nice, Michael. I love it!

I looked at his email from May. He said it was the second print of #1 that was destroyed by diamond and that no more than a couple hundred exist.
His email to me the other night regarding my #2 first print on ebay was this:
"A bunch of these got "disappeared" by Diamond, as the mob
would say, so this one is the lowest quantity out there of any
issue, any printing. Not one Olympian Publishing or Century
Guild employee has a copy in their collection. I know people are
excited now about issue #1 first prints, but this is the one that
when people are trying to complete a set of first prints they will
not be able to find. I would guess that only a few hundred made
it onto the streets"
I'm waiting to hear back from him with clarification, but in both conversations, it was a couple hundred, not 100.
we'll see...
Wow. It makes me even happier to have my first print copy of #2!!!

Andy, that's great.
