I wouldn't be surprise a 9.8 will show up someday. GL 76 is a great book to have, but seeing one and a half dozen 9.4 on the census...doesn't make me jump up to pay over $10K for...at least at this moment.

Very strong indeed. The Green Lantern 85 went kind of soft...it's bronze. Looks like GLs are smoking hot right now.

I will definitely be happy if SC #22 hits half of the price in grade that AF #15 is at. (thumbs u It was interesting that the 5.0 SC #22 did not break $2600 or meet reserve in the Qualitycomix auction this past week, yet the 4.0 hit $1950 on feebay. I wonder if the reserve was the main problem? Could be the problem. Looks like if it becomes available again and if the reserve is not set to high, perhaps it might sell.

The other shocking thing is...there are mid to late 1960's SA popping in 9.8's

Incredible book to have. I don't think it will affect too much...unless more 9.8 comics out of the wood works.

Hmmmm........looks like there might be an arbitrage opportunity to buy books from the auction houses now to flip on eBay. This is your chance to get at least $2K for your copy. Too bad I bowed out on a couple of other copies shortly after that purchase that did not go much higher. I think we have mention in one of Saget's thread to buy like mad if a 4.0 reaches near $1K. I think it's going to be quite difficult to grab a nice 4.0 under $1300 now. If you are planning to add one for your collection, a nice 5.0+ is where you want to accumulate. If SC22 can just reach half the value of AF15 in 5.0+, we have at least 40% more growth. Right now, SC22 in a minimum 5.0 can't be bought for less than $3K. I sense there are many many buyers wanting to buy in the $2200-2500 range. It's going to be a wild swing ride next year, when the movie hits.
