Sweet Green Goblin and unmasked Spidey.

I would have expected the 9.0 to dip in the upper 40s. I thought it would had eked a bit above $50K It sold cheap. Agreed. I spoke to the owner last week (at least he told me he was the previous owner for the 9.0) and although I didn't follow the auction or this thread I immediately thought someone got the book cheap. I'd have paid $38K for that book without batting an eye. The owner of last week could have sold it directly to you and would have netted more. The market this speak for that book during that time...the danger of timing the market...and the bargains that can be had. It sure makes the 9.2 sell of $100K a bit high.

That looks like a very strong 9.4, the colors are deep and the corners are sharp! Very nice copy. Thanks. I bet you have a AMS 130.

Those colors are absolutely blazing! Near Mint Silver Age ASMs. That is a beauty! A nice #40 is high on my want list. That book has always had a special place in my heart as it was the very first SA Spidey book I ever bought as a kid. Paid $10 for about a 7.0, I'll scan it at some point. We should all show our first SA Spidey book on here, you never forget them! Now that's a KEEPER! To think about...a had a raw #40 7.5 which was purchased around the same time as my #1..but not lucky enough for around $10.00 though.

True And in fairness to the universe, I benefitted from a few other "bargains" before the DC's hit the proverbial fan, so It all kinda balances out in the end. Who knew a bargain 6.0 would pop up right after I clicked the 5.0. Oh well, It's not too hard having 2 Some hoarders in this thread have multilple 22s... hoarding hoarding keys.

Glad it's back in your collection. My AMS1 is one of the last book that will leave my collection (hard earned paper route money).
