What an incredible book! A true "Early Action" with a Classic cover and fantastic eye appeal. (thumbs u Yes, most definitely a very beautiful book! With Superman featured so prominently on the front cover relative to his image on issue #13, I can see why Overstreet used to have issue #15 valued at a much higher price point than issue #13. Awesome book! Very under appreciated early Action.

I think all the oldies in this thread know that S22 has always been tough to find. Early mail order days, CBG days, and now the internet days. The movie did not change that. Anyone who follows movie hype is just chasing rainbows. Quite a bit of volume for raw and graded copies the last few weeks. Looks like folks who wanted to run for the exit...mostly did. Must resist temptation..........the prices have not dropped far enough yet................. Okay...you might be able to snatch one at bargain... One in a 7.0+ will be sweet!

Yeah, it seemed like there were a lot of nice PQ copies this time out. There were certainly more white paged ASMs than I can remember seeing in any recent CLink auction. PQ? Who dat calling my name? A PQ thread calling for a bump.

Rich or I would bid ONE more dollar than you... I am always happy to get outbid when prices are dropping. As Confucius says: It is better to pick up the knife from the floor after it has cut off the fingers of the person trying to catch it on the way down. I just don't see a 7.0 (even a soft eye appeal) in the $4-5K ever again...unless sold for less than FMV. SC22 in 7.0 (upper HG) is where the prices jump tremendously. The last recorded 7.0 was in late 2010 for $9K. At $4-5k.. buy like mad. A BB28 in 7.0 recently sold for $6500...and SC22 7.0 is worth more.

Aman, you were correct. DC can't generate the Marvel flick wave. (thumbs u Which of course is why the biggest grossing comic book movie of all time is "Dark Knight". The Bat is an exception to the rule... I think the death of a lead actor before the movie came out had a ton do with so many people going to see it. The death of the very popular Heath Ledger brought world wide attention to the movie, that made a lot of difference. Not to mention, and I believe...it's the sixth Batman movie. For now, Warner Brothers loosing money on GL in the short term and they're hoping for a bigger return in the long term.
