Let's resurrect this thread with some mid-grade Kirby/Reinman love:

Upgrade and paid over GPA but been looking quite a while for a well-centered copy with the full comics code stamp & #2 square visible plus it has white pages.

With all that's going on with that front cover, the back is a great placement for the signature! GLWYS!

There's about a $200.00 difference between a 1.8 and a 2.5, $400.00 difference on a 1.5 so your friend should be pretty happy with that. I'm assuming it will come back blue label?

I guess one of my best days was when I stopped in at my LCS back in the 90's & saw they had just gotten in raw copies of ASM #1 & AF #15. The AF #15 was kind of rough but complete, the #1 was in better shape. Well I bought them both for $1500.00 which was alot of money for me back then. I had them both graded some years later and got a 1.8 for the AF #15 & a 3.0 for the #1. A few years later before the AF price explosion I upgrade the 1.8 for a 2.0. I still have the ASM #1 and thinking of having it sent it for a clean & press to maybe get a 3.5?
