  1. Beautiful copy indeed! I have a 5.0 SS copy myself. Initially, I had trouble finding a nice copy of TtA #44, but I believe this book will increase a lot in value once the Ant-Man movie comes out. It's one of my favorite covers from the early 60's. The greens really pop. And this is a gorgeous copy!
  2. My other two Ant Mans. I only have four .... so far
  3. Thanks Ryan (thumbs u I think you know about my other two. I'll try to get post them in the next day or so. You're run is looking awesome!
  4. I'm don't think I've posted a scan in this thread, and honestly I'm too lazy to look at the moment. Anyway, when it comes to TTA, I'm an Ant Man kinda guy. I have a few to go for an Ant Man run, but I'm slowly working on it.
  5. Although I already knew you had that 47 beauty, I'll say it again .. fabulous book, and I mean really sweet! I know how picky you are, and you picked a great copy! Congrats!!
  6. Not as worthy as a lot of these, but I'll throw it up here anyway! Farscape actors that were at PHXCC 2013 Gigi Edgley (Chiana) and David Franklin (Capt. Braca).
  7. Haha Jason, met too! There seem to be a lot of Sgt. Fury pedigrees out there. I know I put bids on two of the RMs on eBay Sunday. Looks like we need to compare notes!
  8. even the one with the spoon-y pq at ow/w??? There were 4 Pedigree copies that went off on eBay like an hour ago. 47,48,49 and 70. I saw this and figured you would outbid me at the last second but all but the 48 went without a last second bid and i got pretty cheap. Hey! What's going on here? I was trying to put my run together quietly and then this shows up! Yep, a very under appreciated title, and let's hope it stays that ways for a year or two, so we can get these on the down low.
  9. Way cool, Fingh! Although, it makes me feel a bit old. Some really nice books/signatures have shown up recently. Congrats to the owners!
  10. I'll try to pump a little life back into the thread. I've had this one a while, but forgot to put it up. I couldn't be happier!
  11. I had my eye on that one earlier in the week, but never was around for the auction. Nice pick-up! Congrats BIlly Well, I ended up getting this one on the CLink auction yesterday and once again, I've spent some coin I was saving for SDCC. Sgt. Fury was one of my favorite reads as a kid and I feel the title doesn't get the respect it deserves. And this one also.
  12. Was wondering when this one would show up. (thumbs u
  13. I'll pile too, but they're not nearly as nice as Jeff's. Fantastic #3, hopefully someday.
  14. Anybody have a contact for Crain that works I am trying to contact him to do a commission and wanted to know his rates turnaround times and etc. I had one email that I tried a few weeks back and heard nothing back from. I'd generally, say count on spending $350 to $425 for a blank cover. He'll send the art to CGC for you if you fill in the paperwork and send it with your blank. Did you send a mesage using the contact page on his website? I'm thinking you did, but just being certain. If not, do so and you'll get in line. He'll get back to you when his schedule allows him to open some time for commissions. You may hear back from him before he opens commissions, but probably not. He's pretty good about telling you his schedule once he is starting a round of comissions.
  15. Seeing that the thread went hot again I'll post my only Crain which I commissioned last October (2012). Apologies to some since I posted previously in the Avengers 1 thread. There's absolutely no doubt his art is world class.
  16. Congrats to the winner! However, with these two examples of pure awesomeness, there's no loser here.
