  1. Don't worry, he told me he would ignore me too. I am tempted to ask if he works for CSG. In his original post he says we a lot when talking of CSG as if he was part of the company.
  2. They're still a new company in the world of grading. They've only been open for about 5 months and many are still waiting for their bulk slabs from April to finish grading. So if you think about it, there are really only about maybe 3 months worth of graded cards out there. I'm not surprised that you are not seeing very many of them. At the same time, look at SGC. They've been around for years and you still don't see a lot of them. Unfortunately, even though I like SGC and CSG, you just won't see much of them out there compared to BGS and PSA. Those two were the standard for grading for years and PSA still is.
  3. They want me to basically fill out a reholder request and send it back to them. They said it would be no charge but they also did not say anything about reimbursing me for the value of the 9.5 card. It's not a lot of value but I would expect some type of compensation. I guess I will have to wait and see.
  4. I emailed customer service but will have to wait until tomorrow hopefully for a response.
  5. In addition to the constant increase to turnaround times, the lack of "thicker" holders to hold cards cut slightly larger at the manufacturer and the continued increase in prices like the new thick holder surcharge, we now have to deal with them damaging our cards during the encapsulation. Thanks guys. I really appreciate it.
  6. I think it's how they raise prices without technically raising prices.
  7. I'm thinking those cases with the inner sleeve are the larger cases they are waiting for. One of the CS Reps told me they were getting some in a little at a time so I believe there are some of the larger cases out there and those are the only ones different from the snug fit ones.
  8. That is insane. CSG just doesnt like me or something. I just looked at my order again and I use to have subgrades and no overall grades. Now I dont have any grades at all and they are in grading/qc. They were already graded. Why are they going back through again? I did take screenshots of the original subgrades though just in case they change my grades.
  9. Sorry, but I'm not comprehending this. Are you saying that you have shipped out (3) orders submitted at the Bulk level of 50 cards or more and that you have had all (3) orders graded and shipped back to you with all cards graded? If so, I'm going to have to ask for some sort of proof as you sir are a unicorn. There is not one person out there that I believe has gotten 3 bulk orders back from CSG yet. I will continue to believe that until someone can show me proof otherwise. This company is not touching bulk orders. My bulk order was received Feb 26, mere days after they opened up and it is still there now.
  10. I asked a question in the "Ask CSG" section but am waiting for it to be approved and then hopefully get some info on it.
  11. I noticed there is a new option under "My CSG" called "My Registry Sets". Can you explain how this works or point us in the direction where we can find out about it?
  12. You're probably right but considering they have made him the face of the company, he should be the one addressing those issues.
  13. Before I go and waste my time listening, does he address any of the following questions: Where are the larger cases and why do you continue to push false information to individual customers about when they will arrive? Who still remembers them telling you they will be here in May? Now it's two months from now. yet a Customer Service rep told me they were getting small quantities in periodically. Those most likely are earmarked for the higher submission levels. Why after being drowned in a sea of cardboard are they still accepting submissions when they don't have the supplies nor the employee capacity necessary to fulfill the current backlog? Why did you set turnaround times at 60 "estimated" days, change them to 199 days and then refuse to return our cards when customers decide they don't want to wait that long? Can I change my mind and only pay half for the service? No, but you can change your side of the contract? 199 business days is now entering PSA turnaround times prior to their shutdown. They will have shorter turnaround times once they open back up. Why then should we submit with CSG instead of PSA? ROI? No. Why are customers who submitted cards in March getting the option to have their orders partially shipped back but my order from February that only needs two of the larger cases still sits there with no email for me? Yeah, he doesn't address those questions does he? Why is Andy Broome hiding and not addressing the real issues with his organization?
  14. Unfortunately, the reality is that first impressions can tell you a whole lot about a company and my first impression of CSG (like most others) is not good. What kills me is the fact that they do not even care. I love the look of the slabs, but if you can't get your cards put into them, what else good can they do?
  15. At this point, I think CSG is just messing with me. It almost appears that that the partial orders they are shipping back are those orders that are either Standard or Economy and have some cards that are waiting for the larger slabs. I don't think I have seen any movement on bulk orders that fall into this category. I think they are just going to make us wait until the larger slabs get here. Then they will slab those Standard and Economy orders waiting for the larger ones and run out when they get to the bulk orders.
  16. Congrats on having your packages move forward some in the process. BUT, don't get your hopes up. My bulk order received on 2/26 moved to grading in April. Guess where it is right now? Still there. Matter of fact, it was in encapsulation and then I watched as it went backwards to grading again. After you have been thoroughly frustrated at the fact that they are moving no further, you will call them and inevitably be told that they are waiting on two cards to receive the mysterious larger holder. Most likely, they have a severe shortage, due to the global supply issues, of regular slabs and they will run out if they fill the bulk orders. That's why they tripled the turnaround times for bulk but not for the other service levels. They will fill those smaller orders just so the can get some product out there and try to fool people into believing that they are actually fulfilling orders. Think about this. My first order submitted when they opened up was received by them in the system on 2/26 and that order number is #258. My second bulk order was just checked in yesterday. It arrived at their office on 4/5 and is order #6204. So, what that means is that between the end of Feb and the beginning of April they received about 6000 orders. They are checking in packages this week that arrived in the first week of April. That indicates that they received about 6000 orders in 6 weeks and they are just now getting into the stuff from the week that PSA shutdown, SGC raised their prices to astronomical levels, and CSG operated as if nothing was happening. They probably went from 1000 orders per week to double that. If you think they have enough regular slabs in stock to handle that influx when they can't even get the larger slabs that are supposed to be coming, you would most likely be wrong. Look at how badly they are trying to hire people. They've got this foolish hiring fair, cleverly disguised as a Grading Academy. They are offering $2500 sign-on bonuses also. They were so ill prepared for what has happened to them. Instead of going onto the podcasts and explaining the situation that they are in and letting us know what they are doing to correct it, they continue to try to pull the wool over the eyes of the collectors. Eventually, they will have no choice but to come clean.
  17. That is an interesting point. I don't think I have seen any bulk returns in quite some time. If that is the case though, I just don't understand why CSG can't just come out and say it.
  18. Unfortunately, you won't see a pop report from CSG for quite some time. If you ask, all they'll tell you is that yes they are going to have one and they will let you know when it is available. The simple fact is that they really haven't graded many cards at all. With the current shortage of the mysterious larger slabs, they are not able to finalize and return people's orders. They do not want to publish a pop report with nothing on it. That would just be one more reason for others to turn away from them. That's not saying they don't have the inventory to create one. Lord knows, they probably have a million cards sitting in their warehouse, but until they can complete orders and get them back to people while reducing the turnaround times, pop reports and registries should be the last thing (and probably is) on their minds.
  19. They've at least told me what two cards they are waiting for. I have seen the email they are sending out to people but I have yet to get one. I'd be fine with two separate shipments instead of holding everyone's cards hostage.
  20. I'll start: 55 card bulk order received on 2/26/21. Waiting on two larger slabs before they will ship.
  21. The floodgates were never closed. CSG is so blind to what is happening, they will continue to bury their heads in the sand and keep the gates open doing the same poor job of running a business as they have been doing. All the while, continuing to pile order on top of order while they wait for the mysterious larger cases to come in. They'll be here next week, right......
  22. Nearly every bulk order is waiting on larger slabs. Only those who have submitted smaller 5 or so card orders have gotten them back. I have one received 2/26 that is still waiting. Not that it is going to make a difference, but I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint last night. I don't see how it can be legal for a company to take your cards with an estimated turn around time, charge you for service that has not been completed, change the turnaround times to triple what it was when you sent them in, and then tell you "No" you can't refuse the service. Even though it was their failure to provide a service. I've got a package that was delivered 4/5 that has still not been checked in. So, they have not even opened my package and they still won't return my cards. Meanwhile the turnaround has changed from 60 days to 199 days. If I knew it would be this long when I went to send them in, I would have waited for PSA to open up, paid the higher fees and probably gotten them back sooner than CSG now. It sucks because I really like their slabs. You can't just change the terms after the order is placed and then refuse to agree to forgo the service.
  23. They can't confirm anything. Chrome cards should not be considered "thick" I got a bunch of them back graded in the one order they have returned to me.
  24. This just shows how much they really care about growing their business. I have said elsewhere that I really think CSG was created solely for those people who already submit to CCG for other services. I don't think they really care about obtaining new customers very much. If so, their marketing team needs to be fired. But hey, you can attend their CSG Academy for a "Sports Card Grading Seminar" that is really just a fancy way of saying it's a job fair so they hopefully can hire some more people so they can get the orders that have literally not moved to you one day earlier.
