  1. So after checking with the people I needed to check with, I got the ok to show these (since they actually haven't been shipped yet). New to my collection, these are 1:50 sketch variants, signed and sketched by Kevin. If you look carefully, these particular 4 line up. Not realizing this at the time of the photo, I put them in the wrong order. As they are now, the correct order should be 3,4,1,2. These books are currently at the CGC being graded, but I will take more photos when they return.

(The orange dots just happen to be on the poly bags that they are in)

    Congrats on those!!! (worship)

  2. They have to kill off characters. They HAVE to.

    Nobody is safe (thumbs u

And by killing off "main" characters like they did in the books it becomes an innovative TV show, and successful.

When I read the trade paperbacks, and got to the one that had Lori and the baby gunned down in the prison I was shocked! And yet, not surprised. The Walking Dead has some "realism" to it as far as what I see happening in the given situations. That is what will happen on the TV show as well. We have seen it with Shane leaving Otis for dead. Now we need to see more of the same

I think that by reading the comics you are able to relate to and get more into the characters than by watching them on TV. I feel that now we have got to know the characters better over time that they will start getting killed off and have more of an impact.

  3. The new guy Dr. Balls is a professional artist, and would like to know if I'm good enough to take the next step.Maybe get a portfolio, and shop my work around.I never thought I would do anything with it you know, just for my own.I have been thinking maybe I could take it to the next level. (shrug)
I think your art work is fabulous. (worship)

    +1

Your work is amazingly real. I love when an artist does portraits that look lifelike. Great job oakman!!

  4.

I don't sell to probies and had I known he was on the list, I never would have agreed to the sale. My question now is this: I agreed to the sale and he seems to be blowing off his end of the deal. I'd prefer to not do business with him. Would I have the backing of the board if I told the guy that the transaction is no longer valid or should I hold up my end of the deal should he decide to come through and pay for it? Thoughts?

Still looking for input on this one. The whole post is a few posts back, but this is what I'm hoping people will weigh in on. Thanks!

I say you should definitely be able to cancel the deal.

I don't know if you had it in your sales thread "no sales to list members" but if so and he still tried to buy the book then shame on him. You shouldn't worry about it one bit.
