  1. I just received a batch of sweet books from Mark, I can't say enough about the guy and how good he is to deal with. Every aspect of this and several other transactions have been absolutely first rate. Sweet books, fast shipping, excellent packaging and outstanding service have earned this customers loyalty and friendship (thumbs u Casey
  2. I bought a couple of John Byrne posters not too long ago on the boards from PtTuller. I have wanted these since they came out ( I cannot remember why I didn't buy them back then ) and am really happy to have such pretty copies. The two posters form one image and my wife was sweet enough to get them framed for me as a present. The hand is my lovely wife Emily's:
  3. And I ask again...am I wrong...? No, you weren't wrong
  4. OK, I agree with Sean about this guy
  5. You're screwed now. No matter what you do, you'll forever be branded as that douchey guy. You could, from hereon out, be the Mother Theresa of the boards, and you'll never escape that stigma. Ever. You could be clever, generous, witty, knowledgable, whatever. Doesn't matter now, because you've been a douchey on your first outing. If I were you, I'd just vanish. It's probably for the best. (thumbs u Am I wrong....? If he continues to act this way you would be correct, if he changes his ways I could see him being accepted
  6. I have found that most females I've been with really dig the collection. Real women dig the man, not the belongings or what a man's hobby is... Really? Most girls I dated before I met my wife almost universally asked the same question when they found out I was into comicbooks..."how old are you again"?
  7. Been looking for one of these for a while now, I'm glad to finally have it
  8. Very wise. Although there are a few people who have, and I just haven't found the opportunity yet. Here's a hint 99.99% of them already say "TOTAL NEWBIE" under their name. Is there any special consideration for a fellow Chicagoan? No. I wasn't asking you Doctor Who Your custom title should be "Demands rigid compliance with 60 years of comics continuity for all movies or else suck it!" That's not fair dude. Why am I the oddball because I would like some fidelity to the source material? You are not..*sighs* why do people continue to make movies without even reading the material they base the movie on..ugh Thanks, it's nice to know I'm not alone (thumbs u

I just received some super nice Master of Kung Fu books from Ed. Top notch books and customer service as always! Thanks again Casey
  15. Why not, it's not a big bend. It's like a tiny curl that you see in many 9.8s. That's the issue you see in the CL scan. Shouldn't you be getting ready to leave town again? Tuesday. Cross Country drive once again. I think it is funny CL sent out a email saying how awesome it was they now have this book finally for salel, and all this thread is just saying much of non-9.9 it is. You should've waited until the Spring to move back...unless you enjoy Winter? I've seen 9.8's that had one tiny little flaw and also 9.8's that had no apparent flaws at all. If 10.0 is absolutely perfect, what kind of defect is allowed at 9.9?
  16. I would be surprised if someone paid that much for it.
  17. Greg - Those are crazy...have you by chance read any of them? I'd be interested to know if they're campy fun, they certainly look it. I've never seen those before, thanks for sharing (thumbs u
  18. Just received a BA Amazing Spider-Man from Frank that was packed super tight and arrived in perfect shape. I would not hesitate to buy from him again Thanks again Frank! Casey
  19. Dude..no joke, but that's kind of how I ended up here as well. Weird. Casey
  20. I just received a couple of sweet BA Iron Man issues from Marc. Shipped fast and secure, I would buy from him again in a heartbeat Thanks again! Casey
  21. I like his work, but this is the kind of thing that gives true professionals a bad name. I'm not making any judgement on the sketch you received, as art is subjective. Considering the hassle he put you through, one would think he would've done something with a bit more "oomph".
  22. That's a retirement fund. Holy jeebus...that's an awesome display of collecting
