  1. Quick Update on this: I sent the Black Label 9.5 Scottie Pippen back to CSG to be reholdered to a 10. (It was originally a Green Label 9.5, which crosses over to a 10 with CSG's new grading scale.) CSG informed me they made a mistake and accidently put it in a Black Label 9.5 when it got reholdered the first time. So I sent the card back to CSG to get reholdered again. Today I was informed via email by CSG that they damaged the card.
  2. Sent in a Scottie Pippen graded a 9.5 Gem Mint Green Label to be reholdered as a 10 Gem Mint. (Because of CSG's new grading system and new labels.) To my surprise, when I got the card back, it was still a 9.5, and the grade lowered to a Mint+. It was also given a new cert number, which is mind boggling to me. I assume this is to create doubt from outside viewers that it "might" not be the same card. But it is the same card. Good luck to everybody else out there sending their 9.5 Gem Mint Green Labels in to get reholdered, only to get the card back NOT as a 10, and actually a lower grade based on the new CSG grading scale!
  3. Doubt I'll ever be using CSG again. Their claim that all Green Label 9.5 cards will be regraded a 10 with the new black label is false. And they gave the cards new cert numbers, which is asinine. Here is proof: I sent in a Scottie Pippen Flair Showcase 9.5 GEM MINT Green Label to be reholdered. It was returned to be today as a 9.5 MINT+ Black Label. It also had a new cert number. (Why?! To create doubt among outside viewers that maybe it isn't the same card?) I'm legitimately wondering if PSA has an insider working at CSG intentionally sabotaging their decision making. This is a terrible look. Good luck to others sending in their 9.5 Gem Mint Green Labels, just to get sent back a 9.5 Mint+ Black Label.
  4. 1966 Topps Mantle. Received it over 6 months ago, nowhere on the pop report. ..And not to beat a dead horse here, but CSG has got to get a better website dev team. Pop report released, but we can't just type in a card cert number? This is amateur hour stuff. Gives me flashbacks to the terrible submission form CSG originally had.
  5. I received an email yesterday that my bulk order has been shipped. Shows it is being shipped via FedEx and expected to be delivered in 2 days. However, when I check the tracking, it only shows that the "label has been created", so it hasn't actually shipped yet. We'll see if it arrives in 2 days or not. Glad to finally see some movement with the order, but also just ready for this fiasco to be done. 😂 Looking forward to not submitting any cards to any grading service for well over a year.
  6. Awesome man, great looking cards. I think vintage baseball look particularly nice in CSG slabs.
  7. Interesting. Thanks for posting this! So if I am reading this correctly, you subbed one bulk order on March 6th, and got it back on April 20th? 😳 That is pretty amazing, since that has not been the case for many others here waiting on bulk subbed in late February and early March. Also, have you received back your second bulk order that shipped on 6/15 yet? That is even more shocking since that was received on 4/16. Also interesting with the 78 card bulk order, since CSG marked it as "shipped" and it shows it shipped on 6/21. Which is obviously a future date, since today is 6/19.
  8. Wow. So the time it takes an order to just get marked as received is 70+ days now. ...expecting "current turnaround" times to increase again any day now. CGC's bulk turnaround is currently at 228 days. I'd have to imagine CSG's will be the same.
  9. That is awesome man, please keep us updated and share anything you can from your returned bulk order. Anything is better than nothing at this point!
  10. I'm a little confused by what you said. "I've gotten 3 bulk orders shipped so far." Does that mean, you've shipped 3 bulk orders to CSG? or you have received 3 bulk orders back from CSG? What date did you received them back? And can you post pictures of the "Received Date" and "Due Date" stickers on the returned box?
  11. SGC was smart for doing what they did. Tactically, it was an excellent move to counter CSG entering the market. CSG's inaction to the influx of subs has now left them stagnant. The only bulk subs they'll be getting now are bottom of the barrel ones that consumers submit because they are the cheapest option available. Their inaction has now made them the go-to grading company for low-end cards! 👌 ...And I actually want CSG to become a major player, and they still might. But when everything settles, and PSA and CSG have the same turn-around times, which company do they think consumers/dealers/investors are going to choose? CSG may have accidently created their niche... low-end cards.
  12. That is awesome man. Yep, I'm curious to see what they are considering "thick" cards.
  13. Congrats! Post a picture of the Received Date and Due Date stickers on the side of the bulk order box when you get it. 👍
  14. 50 card bulk order, received 3/10. I still suspect that all bulk orders from 2/26 onward are on pause. Like one of the other posts stated, CSG probably has a shortage of normal slabs due to the import fiasco, so they don't want to use the slabs they do have on any bulk orders right now. I believe the thick/bigger slabs situation is just a misdirect. None of my cards were thicker or oversized. Which is likely why customer support couldn't specify which cards of mine were causing the hold up... This video shows the latest date confirmed for a bulk order that has shipped out, received at CSG on 2/25.
  15. I also don't think that paying for an order necessarily translates to CSG actually shipping it "soon"... Hopefully it does. But that definitely isn't true for bulk orders right now.
  16. For what it is worth, I do recommend calling them as well. I "paid" for all my orders when I submitted them. And then randomly, I did get an email from them with an invoice. I was confused because I actually had already gotten back my economy orders. I checked my credit card statement, and in fact they had actually not billed anything to me yet. (Except the CSG membership.) So when I called to check, I said that "I submitted my credit card info with each submission and already received my economy orders back." The accounting lady told me they had some stuff happen with their credit card system and they in fact did send back several orders to people before they even billed them. So I then paid for everything over the phone. I'm still waiting on my only bulk order from 3/10 though, and I paid for it about two weeks ago now. I still think bulk is totally on pause, but it might help a lot for folks with economy and up service levels.
  17. Yep. That seems to just be the way SGC grades altered and damaged cards like that. I have a similar card, a T206 common that actually has glue residue on the back, and stains, and it also got a Poor 1. Mine actually looks like it was hit by a truck. 😂 So I think that reflects the traditional grading procedures of SGC. And at least you got it graded! The new SGC holders are awesome, great for vintage.
  18. Yep. No doubt that is what is happening. Pretty much shafting the CSG early adopters though... I imagine CSG's thick cases excuse has always been pure baloney. This is strictly a tactical move to please the higher-service customers with their current staff. I can't buy the theory that CSG, a branch of CCG and sister company with CGC, somehow magically can't figure out how to get bigger slabs? 😂 Even with their 7+ months lead up time from announcing CSG's inception to them opening their doors. And they STILL can't figure out "bigger" slabs? 🤣
  19. Yep, I'm in the same boat. My bulk order was listed as received on March 10th. Still in "Grading / Quality Control". Another member on here said their bulk order was listed as received on 2/26 and is still in "Grading / Quality Control". That appears to be the date CSG probably stopped shipping, because I did see that (one person at least) received back a bulk order in late April that was listed as received on 2/25. So that pretty much indicates that all bulk orders have been put on pause. Here is the video from a person who received a bulk order back, that was marked received on 2/25. (Based on the box sticker.)
  20. Mine didn't take very long, because they got it in early March. Based on other people's posts, it looks like it may take 1-2 months now before they mark a package as "received" in their system. And that is when the turn-around clock officially starts, that is my understanding. All signs indicate CSG is not shipping out any bulk orders at all currently. So in reality, there is no telling how long this is going to take. At this point, I'd probably be lucky to get my bulk order back by Christmas.
  21. Yep.. My Bulk order was marked received on 3/10 and its status has been "Grading / Quality Control" for nearly 2 months. At this time, I am convinced CSG has stopped shipping bulk orders. I just noticed the bump to 199 working turn-around days for bulk. CGC's working turn-around days for bulk is at 228, so I would absolutely expect CSG's to surpass that. It is definitely frustrating for the early adopters who took a chance with CSG. ...PSA has been unfortunately playing all of the other card grading companies like a fiddle. CSG, being a branch of CCG, should have been far more prepared. And I honestly hate to say that. 🤷‍♂️ Upon a little bit of digging, this video appears to show a bulk order return that was marked received on 2/25. The video was uploaded on 4/26 and the person states in the video that it had just arrived. It is also interesting to see that the "Due Date" on the box says 5/20, so the actual expected turn-around times internally with CSG at that time were around 60 days. At least for that specific bulk order.
  22. I'm honestly just curious, if anyone out there has received a CSG Bulk order back? If you have, any submission dates and details you can provide would be great. I have received back two Economy orders, in early April. However, I haven't noticed anyone on here who has got a Bulk order back yet.
  23. This must be the go-to response that works the best for CSG at the moment. I was told exactly that for my bulk order as well. However, I'm fairly certain that is false, as none of the cards I sent in would be of larger size. (And it seems like when cards are actually bigger, CSG send them back ungraded with a label mentioning that, like with the 1989 Upper Deck Ken Griffey Jr. rookies.) That being said, I did send in several SkyBox E-XL cards, which are multi-layered, and could be considered thicker. However, I sent two SkyBox E-XL cards off with an Economy order and already got them back, and the cases seem identical to the others I got back. It is understandable that CSG is swamped, but I'm no longer convinced that the thicker cases are actually the hold up. 😅
