  1. Yes, this also just happened to me as well, this week. I'm not sure if something happened to their credit card system or what. The accounting lady indicated that something had occurred. It was definitely a little confusing. The invoice they email was also intended to be mailed back via the post office. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I thought it was just a billing receipt at first. Which is why I ended up calling them to check what was going on. And turns out, I had actually received "Economy" level cards graded and returned to me before anything had been billed. ๐Ÿ˜ณ
  2. There is really no telling with bulk right now.. My bulk order (50 cards) was marked received on 3/10 and it has been in "Grading/Quality Control" for nearly two months. I did call customer service this week for the first time, and supposedly they have been graded, but not encapsulated.
  3. Cool, that is good to know about the lowest subgrade! Yeah, I agree on the label subgrades too. This card was in my first group subbed, and is a PC card, so I'll likely submit it back to CSG to get the sub grades added in a year or two.
  4. I may be totally wrong here, and I'm curious to hear directly from CSG too, but it appears their grading scale is basically the same as BGS. And my understanding is, the overall grade can only be .5 higher than the lowest subgrade on the card. I had a terribly off-center 1986 Fleer Barkley, but the card was fairly NM overall. So I assume the centering was a 6, meaning the highest overall grade possible would be a 6.5. (Assuming the centering is the lowest subgrade for the card.) I've attached some images of the card for comparison.
  5. I'm just trying to find out what CSG's "complete through date" for bulk is. Current turnaround times and "opening submissions delivered week X" don't seem to mean much in terms of where CSG is with completed bulk orders. I have a bulk order marked received by CSG on "My Submissions" page on 3/10. At that time, bulk turnaround times were 40 days. Fast forward to working day 38 for my bulk order, on 4/30, and then CSG changes the current bulk turnaround time to 80 days... and now 133 days? ๐Ÿคจ Yikes.
  6. Yeah... the "now opening submissions of X week" is pointless. There is a big difference between "opening week of" and "complete through dates" for each service level. Not sure why CSG is dancing around that. I assume it is because they are terribly backed up, which is understandable. Better to own up to that though, than play it off like everything is fine.
  7. I'm not sure which service level y'all are speaking about, but if this helps anyone get an idea: On the CSG submission page, my bulk order was marked "Received" on 3/10. The status has been "Grading / Quality Control" for a month now.
  8. I'd assume PSA will likely keep bulk at $20 per card too, but maybe only require a 10 card minimum. They already have that pricing structure posted. https://www.psacard.com/pricing New normal for a while. But after inflation, $20 per bulk card will be equivalent to $10, just like it was before. ๐Ÿ˜„
  9. Awesome, thanks! At least that is something to base off of. My bulk order was marked received on March 10th. So I guess that "opening submissions delivered the week of March 15" doesn't necessarily mean they have completed bulk to that date. If that helps anybody else who submitted around that time. I'm glad I submitted when I did! ๐Ÿ˜„ I sent two cards to PSA Express right before their price change (I didn't realize it was about to change), and I'll be lucky if I get those cards back in a year. Glad to see people are giving CSG a shot!
  10. What is the current "complete through date" for CSG bulk orders? Or is there a place to see that on the CSG website? One of my bulk orders was marked "received" in early March and was getting close to 40 days, right before turnaround times for bulk got pushed up to 80 days. ๐Ÿ˜‚ So I'm just trying to get an idea on how far out bulk orders realistically are. Thanks!
