  1. I didn't think it would fall in grade so I didn't order a press. Same thing happened to a couple of other books from the same signing. The whole process just takes such a long time that I don't want to send them anywhere for 6+ months to maybe get the same grade back. Besides, I am not sure how much longer I will hold on to the collection...today's prices are just too tempting.
  2. 1 x #2 3rd print 9.8 in 2021 for $1175. Last sale was in Dec at $549. No yellow labels recorded as sold. This one leaves a bitter taste for me as my 9.8 downgraded to a 9.6 when I had it signed back in 2014. The 9.6 goes for less than a third of the 9.8...
  3. 9 x #2 2nd print 9.8's in 2021 so far. Last Sale was yesterday at $895 but it reached $1035 on Apr 13 no yellow label sales this year, last one in Dec ($780) and there were only 3 in the last 12 months
  4. It's been a few quiet months with no sales of #2 in these grades: TMNT #2 CGC 9.8 SS Eastman $6800 April 29 (last sale Dec 10 $3360) TMNT #2 CGC 9.8 blue label (signed eastman/laird) $4884 April 15 (no previous sales) TMNT #2 CGC 9.8 blue label $3900 April 1st (last sale dec 11 $3500) ...a small bump for universal grade and a big one for yellow label. blue label signed continues to hold a premium...
  5. I'm sure! Good luck, I hope you set a new record with this one
  6. sold for $5040 incl bp... I'd say that's a steal
  7. Raphael at $4k ($4800 with bp) with 1 day left
  8. A few interesting auctions on HA ending in 3 days: Raphael CGC 9.8 SS Eastman TMNT #2 CGC 9.6 TMNT #4 2nd Print CGC 9.6 Manufacturing Error Any speculations on the hammer prices?
  9. There's no 'make offer' option either... Based on my mathematical and computational skills (on par with my 8 yr old) I would put the value of $3750-$4250 on this one for this week. Next week it will change as we have seen prices do on a weekly basis since November 2020...
  10. Hopefully somebody can inform the rest of us. They will be in the hundreds of thousands arena to be sure...
  11. It's a 2nd Print #2 and this sale is better than the 90 day average of $441 1st print number 2 in 9.6 has a 90 day average of $1800 ...and oh yes, April and her open jumpsuit always made me smile
  12. We should also dissect the printing versions of #1 for the speculation benefit of those about to plunge into purchasing these books: There are 4 versions: 2 in USA (direct/newstand), 2 in Canada (direct/newstand). Direct ratio to newstand ratio is 10 to 1 in both countries USA to Canada ratio is 10 to 1 so in order of rarity these are the standings: #1 Canada newstand #2 USA newstand/Canada direct (these should be on parity) #3 USA direct If I have my numbers wrong somebody please correct...
  13. I thought we had established their first appearances were in issue #2... aren't they only in human form in #1? To be honest the advent of this issue harked the end of my TMNT collecting back in the day. At this point the regular series was no longer drawn by Eastman/Laird (really big turn off for me) and I disliked the art/story in TMNT Adventures. I held on a couple more issues and then stopped looking at them completely.
  14. Well I hope you guys don't go and bid this one up...This is the legit 1st issue of Tales of TMNT
  15. sharp looking books! your 9.8 #2 SS by Eastman would go for $5k-$7k...
  16. #1 9.6: $88k #2 9.8: $4884 #3 var 9.8: $25k Raphael 9.2: $978 #9 9.8: $494 #7 9.8: $350 Adventures #1 9.2: $1408 !!
  17. The9.2 #1 adventures is still going too: $610 and counting $84k now

  19. It's an interesting question, and likely only 2 people would know the answer if they remember at all...
