The JIM #58 is one of my favorites, but I guess I like all the green monsters...
-
It has been kinda quiet on this thread, so I thought I'd post a few more nice early ST & JIM books to start off the weekend.
Enjoy.
-
... and a couple more early JIM books with dark or black covers ...
-
Here's a couple more issues with a black or near-black covers.
-
My CGC copy of JIM #48 is dated 7/57 on the CGC label, but has "AUG" printed on the cover. It could be a typo on the label and in CGC's records, but on the census CGC does list both print dates...

Thanks, that's it for now...
-
Anyone have any other good retro-futuristic covers?
-
Thanks!
Here's another TOS robot (in hiding)... There's so much cool detail in these covers, some of them are just amazing.
-
Not sure if it is a proto issue. It isn't listed as one in my overstreet guide. Anyone have a slabbed copy? It might say on the label...
-
One of my personal favorite prehero/atlas era robots... These guys have good balance. Nice retrofuturistic cover.
-
Robot? Mud creature? or maybe this is what you get when you cross a robot and a mud creature...
-
This guy might be electrified too...
-
Electrified robots?
-
how about wayward robots?
-
Did someone say robots? Franken-robots anyone?
-
Thanks guys. I'll have to dig up and post some other scans at some point.

So could the man not breathe because he saw the lady vanish? It kinda looks like both these guys are having a hard time breathing. Great comic!
