The 2001 SP Authentic Autographs is home to the only autographed rookie card for Tiger Woods(SN900). The Authentic Stars parallel includes most of the rookie cards of which six cards are autographed and include Tiger Woods, David Duval and Sergio Garcia. Cards graded Gem Mint 10 are extremely valuable.
Tiger is participating in the 2024 US Open at Pinehurst this weekend. He has 82 PGA event wins including 15 Majors, just 3 behind Jack Nicklaus' 18. Between 2000-2001, Woods is the only player to win all four majors in a row, now known as the "Tiger Slam".

The 2023 Topps Home Field Advantage cards were an unannounced insert which included 10 different players in both Series 1 and Series 2 including Juan Soto (San Diego), Shohei Ohtani (Anaheim), Ronald Acuna Jr. (Atlanta), Julio Rodriguez (Seattle), and Oneil Cruz (Pittsburgh).
This Adley Rutschman card features many iconic places within Baltimore including Camden Yards, B&O Warehouse, City Hall, the 7-Foot Knoll lighthouse and the symbol for the Mount Vernon Historic District. The Oriole, which is the team name/mascot and the famous Maryland blue crab are also included in the image.

2015-16 Upper Deck Young Guns Series 1 and Series 2 included some of the most anticipated rookies in recent years with Connor McDavid a clear favorite and this card is still extremely valuable.
Other notables from this set include Jack Eichel, Max Domi, Artemi Panarin, and Dylan Larkin.
McDavid will be starting in Game 5 of the Western Conference Final for Edmonton against the Dallas Stars, Friday, May 31st. McDavid has 4 goals and 24 assists in the playoffs. His regular season stats include 32 goals and 100 assists. He continues to be a key player and possibly a first ballot Hall of Famer.

1957-58 Topps basketball cards are a basketball classic as the only major set printed between 1948 and 1968. This is the first set of basketball cards produced by Topps. There are 22 players in the set that went on to become members of the Hall of Fame. Bill Russel's rookie card is easily the most valuable because he was the only major star that was not double printed.

Hi StephenWA,
We responded to your request for a Bob Pettit player set, in January on the Chat Boards and February via email, stating we could not create a set due to minimum requirements. The 2 cards in your inventory have placement in company sets and you are receiving points for both cards. As far as a rookie player set, Bob Pettit only has 1 card considered a rookie card and we would not create a set for 1 card.
Once more cards for Bob Pettit are graded, we would reconsider a player set.

Hello TwoYewts,
I understand your frustration and apologize again for the inconvenience of having to send cards back for correction. I have forwarded your comments to management.
-
Hello,
After reviewing 1401021642022, we noticed this has been incorrectly labeled, without the player name, and should be returned for correction. Once the label has been corrected, you may request to add the card to the proper slot. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Did this 75th anniversary team set go away? I can't seem to find it. I only see Olympic sets under Teams sets and don't see it under rookie sets either.
Hello,
You can find the set here under 21st Century Company Sets.

Congratulations to the winners. Below is a link to the YouTube announcement and awards announcement.

Welp. Getting the 'Your card is not part of this set' thing when attempting to add a card to a registry set that has the full checklist listed, and 20 cards already registered in the set again. I have to wait for someone to approve a card for the registry set that already has the full checklist in it and part of the set already in it. ugh.
We apologize for the inconvenience. When a set is created we will add any necessary information from our database. If we have not yet graded a card, we do not have the necessary information to add to the set which is why you receive that message. I see your request to add cards in our queue and will process them today.

Stephen,
As previous emailed, we have not purposefully excluded basketball MVP players from the CGC Cards Registry. If a player set cannot be created due not meeting the minimum requirements for set structure, those players may find placement in company sets if available. After reviewing your inventory for those 5 MVP players you feel have been excluded, they all have placement in the registry whether in a player or company set.
As with any Key Card set, such as the NBA 75th Anniversary set, only one specific card for each player is needed to complete the set. As I am sure you are aware with comics, there are sets which only one specific book is eligible for a slot.
-
Hello Stephen,
Thank you for the thoughtful feedback. The remaining rookie cards from those 13 players are from sets we currently do not grade. Namely, 1969-70 Topps and 1970-71 Topps. These cards do not fit in our holder and we would not include player cards we cannot grade.
This set structure includes one rookie card from each player and no additions or changes will be made to the set.

We are aware of an issue when adding cards via the + at the top of the page or next to a card in your inventory. There are alternative ways to request new Set Types or new Slots in existing registry sets. Follow the links below for instructions. There is a temporary freeze on new slot requests due to the upcoming 2023 CGC Cards Registry Awards and we will begin adding new slots in January.

Thank you for letting us know. We have reported this to our programmers.

In honor of the passing of Willie Mays, we are featuring his 1959 Topps card. The 1959 Topps baseball set features a new design, 572 cards and is the first year they released the Rookie Stars subset and a Venezuelan set(196 cards). This was the largest Topps set in existence when originally released. The high-number series, card numbers 507-572 has the lowest print run of all the series in the set. Due to the new design, expanded checklist and new subsets, quite a few error cards were released creating corrected variations for several cards including 3 different variations for Warren Spahn and Haywood Sullivan.
Known as the "Say Hey Kid", Willie Mays was the top stolen base leader for four consecutive years from 1956-59 which is mentioned on the reverse of his 1959 Topps card. Widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, Mays began his baseball career in the Negro Leagues. The MLB had a tribute game on Thursday, June 20th featuring the NY Giants and the St. Louis Cardinals in Birmingham, AL where Mays began his career.
