Aliens #1? DHP #1? #24? What are those these days?
Nobody ever took me up on my WTB on the Aliens #1 (graded). Or my Peter Porker (graded) offer.
My guess is that the Aliens books would be hot if anyone ever decided to sell any.

I can't take any credit. Dre did all the hard work, I just sent him the cash.
Gonna have to pull out my other slabs for a sweet group shot.

Morning all.
Firest day back in the office and we've had a fairly substantial server failure over the Christmas break.
Looks like I'll just have to mooch around the boards until ICT pull their finger out and get us up and running again.
Such a shame

A few new gems just made it into my comic room - this being my favorite of them
I remember having one of those when I was young. He made the perfect enemy for Action Man (G.I. Joe).

hi guys,
i hope you having nice holidays...can you give me your opinions on this topic?
My book came back from CGC today...grade turned out better than i've expected but its qualified. Reason for green label is small price sticker on left bottom corner of back cover.
i've read lots of discussions about green labeled books containing signatures unauthorized by CGC.
My question is, does green label mather so much in cases like this, when reason for it is
just very small visual imperfection? I was thinking about having sticker professionally removed and re-submitting this book...but is blue label really worth additional costs and risk of grade drop in this case? Any opinions?
Well, it all depends on your personal preference. If you were asking from a financial point of view then it would be worth it for a valuable book but I'm very doubtful that it would be financially worthwhile for this book.
Tomas,
Hope you had a great Christmas.
I've got to agree with Gaz here. You have a great grade on that book. Personally, the green label wouldn't bother me.
If you do decide to have the sticker removed, contact Joeypost who will provide some top notch advice.
If you're asking from a collecting perspective then it's entirely down to what you prefer. If you really have a desire for your books to have matching labels then you might find it worthwhile but if the book itself is what you focus on then I'd just leave it like it is.
Personally, price stickers bug me so I wouldn't have got a book with a price sticker on slabbed but that's just me.

Well me and Chris will going out both nights.
Everybody else needs to decide on what they want to do.
I'm actually in Boro Fri-Sun so may be able to get out for a few on Sat night as well now. Just need to check the child care availability.

Christmas is officially over.
Just used the last sheet of festive loo roll.

Boro would be my preference but am happy to go anywhere. Food would be a great idea. If you all bore me to tears at least I could focus on my food.
Haven't really been drinking outside of Southfield Road (Or Yarm) in over 10 years so am relying on Andrew to take charge in the drinking schedule.

I think that now we are past the 1st story arc (And beyond the mythical #4) and readers are still singing it's praise is helping a continual (Although slow), growth in demand.
I don't usually flip / speculate so I'm happy in slow and steady growth. All of my multiples have already been off-loaded and I'm happy with a single copy of each book for my collection.
It's also good to see the #1 9.8's knocking on the door of $100
