  1. My records say I have 1-7 Frankie NICE! Of anyone on here I thought you might have some or all of these. You are a fellow hoarder/OCD collector! Lets have an OCD challenge...Do you have from Marvel, Team America #1-12 from 1982? My records say I have all 12 issues. I have all the one I bought new. I really didn't like the series. I'd be more shocked if people had Marvel's generic comic with the solid white cover. I own that one. DG
  2. Didn't one of those come with an X-Men game? If so, search for an unopened game. I may have the issue number wrong. DG
  3. Nice. I've never seen that one before. I assume the Molten Man-Thing is a byproduct of an eruption. DG
  4. I have a rule of thumb. If I snubbed my nose at it when it was new at cover price when I was flipping through it, I will continue to snub my nose at it. That is why I will never make an effort to buy a TMNT#1. I remember seeing a stack of about 50 copies when it was new. I snubbed my nose at it then. Blip didn't interest me and that actor on the cover always annoyed me when I saw him in anything. What year was that? 1980? I thought it was 70's. DG
  5. My images are cropped for posting in a cover gallery, but pre-hero TTA were something I collected. Just a few... I have about 75% of the TTA run. Not high grade, but solid copies DG
  6. I'm not going to buy anything from a dealer who doesn't post prices. DG
  7. I know this post is old, but I finally found my scan of THB #1. Most of my scans are cropped so they can be placed into online cover galleries. If I recall, this is a very thick comic which would be hard to keep in nice shape. I may have more than one, but my comics are in such disarray it would take months to find it if so. I've also unearthed some scans of other Horse Press item. Promo... (I think there's a pink one also that I don't own) Oversized Treasury-sized items... (stitched scans) I like Paul Pope's art, but I lost interest after he went to DC with a project. DG
  8. Apologies. I'm off-topic because these aren't variants. I like all these and I can read them!
  9. I saw the advance screening of that and loved it. I'll agree with you. I even have the promo Stan Lee trading card from the movie. (Top Right)
  10. I have a full set of the Italian Valiant stuff. Here are some highlights.
  11. And I have 3 nice copies of the Cyberrad #1 newsstand edition and also a nice copy of the #5. They are very tough to find. I had to get the Cyberrad #1 newsstand edition from Neal's son Jason. Although I've seen quite a few Gold foil Valeria listed online, I got that from Jason also. If anyone has a red foil Megalith #0 or a Gold Foil Vol. 2 Cyberrad #1 without hologram, I'd love to see a scan. They were solicited by nealadams.com at one point, but no scans have surfaced online. Jason could not confirm they existed. They may have been listed in error. DG Would you, or anyone else, know of the print runs for each issue in CyberRad vol 1? Also, has anyone ever seen the TPB for sale? I can't find much on it and it's pretty much a grail by default since i've wanted a collected edition since I was a kid. I was not buying comics when Cyberrad (Vol.1) came out. There was direct & newsstand distribution, so that throws in extra wildcards for even making estimates. To be honest, I have no idea how many exist. It's a safe assumption to say the newsstand version are going to be MUCH rarer and in lower grade overall. I have 2 or 3 of the Cyberrad TPB's, but they aren't for sale. You might have better luck through a book store search engine, but the condition might end up being insufficient depending how nice you want it to be. http://www.bookfinder4u.com/ DG
  12. I bought this print from Dave Stevens. For the life of me, I never made the connection that Brinke Stevens was his ex-wife. It wasn't until I was introduced to the publisher of Visions Magazine that he mentioned it in conversation. DG
  13. Makes me want to open it up and find out what happens!! I need to find a reader... I have it, but it's buried in my collection somewhere. I think it's just a magazine. DG
  14. I think there was dust on the scanner bed, but it does have a corner ding and some spine stress. I was told a white cover Tick issue came out before this. DG
  15. I was told this isn't the first comic he appeared in. Not a great copy, but okay. DG
  16. I believe there to be less than 5,000 printed. I'm basing it on the number crunching I did back then and my memory. My memory may be faulty, but I was stunned Marvel even published it with the dismal numbers I had calculated.
  17. I believe this to be one of the lowest print run (regular production) comics from Marvel in the 90's.
  18. Well... there goes that plan! Good. i hate wet art. Also don't buy it if it means you have to sleep in the dog house,... it gets the art pretty smelly! Confucius say: Woman who put man in the dog house soon find him in the cat house. I borrowed that line, but I always liked it. DG
  19. Is that the awesome comic with the Crack Babies on the back cover? I'd love to have that original art. Hi Dave Yeah... the comic I spent a year looking for based upon only a scan of the back cover!!! I have two Brunetti pieces of original art from "Haw!" I am pretty sure "Crack Babies" is long gone. You should write him and ask for a back cover recreation. http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=561150 http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=561132 Cruel and Unusual Punishment #2 offers other wonderful pieces like "Furry World" & "The Safe-T's" from other creators. I hurt from laughing after reading it. DG
  20. The best comic I've ever read is: Cruel and Unusual Punishment #2 DG
  21. I have the oddest luck at times. I bought the Charlton first printing of EC's Impact #1 without knowing it. Later I discovered my copy was different from the normal 2nd printings that everyone else owned. Thanks for the info. DG
  22. Windy City copy? Surely not. I don't know anything about the history of the comic other than who I bought it from. DG The A. Wallace name on the left side of the front cover is one of the Windy City markings so it is almost certain that's where the book came from. It's just like me to end up with a pedigree comic and not even know it. So odd. Thanks. DG
  23. I have tried to reply in full to your question, as far as my knowledge goes. dgarthwaite copy has the large 10 cent red price, so it should be one of the two 1947 newsstand versions, as the Catechetical Guild had started to sell his publications in newsttands as well as through the usual school channels. The other is the same, but the large 10 cent price is black. They should be respectively the fourth and fifth versions (excluding the advance one). I was hoping it was a pay copy with that writing on the cover. DG
  24. Windy City copy? Surely not. I don't know anything about the history of the comic other than who I bought it from. DG
