  1. Reading about Feynman made me think that he was a lot like a real-life Sheldon Cooper.
  2. "Someday, I'll be the comic-book straight man to a cannibalistic Oppenheimer, a rage-fueled drunk Einstein, and Fermi the alien."
  3. Yes you are saying there are a ton of copies at CGC yet to be graded Verified, Scheduled, Graded, Quality Control and Shipped/Safe but not yet recorded in the census. But you agree that she's a solid/safe $750. I know where you stand. My answer may have been to a wider audience though directed at you. so sorry No need to apologize. I was just checking. Your summary shows excellent reading comprehension.
  4. That's not 25 additional submissions. That's 25 completed and shipped additional submissions. There are a ton more there now. People are posting about it all over the place. You are right that there will be a lot of lower grade subs as well, because money. I think the market will be able to absorb these books easily and settle in at $750 or so until something comes along to really goose it up.
  5. Still better than the two copies I sold in February for $275 each. I see raw ones going for more than that. If you bought them and slabbed them, that is still huge profit. Nothing to be sad about. I sold (and traded) a couple of WD 19s in the $200 range before I sold one for $1600. All were profitable.
  6. I would agree with except GPA is only a portion of the market. There are lots more sales than are being reported on GPA. Keep your eye on the census. There are many more 9.8s coming back.
  7. Yeah, that $6 local delivery makes a huge difference. Good call.
  8. I would say yes. Several sales between $700 and $800 for blue 9.8. I think it is in the process of settling in at around $750.
  9. I bumped some threads that got pushed down by the massive BotB bump-fest. I am all for people getting that going again, but it pushed almost everything else way down.
  10. Maybe those guys were with Ketterer when he garnered his "astronomically remote" CGC 10.

  12. The real winner is.... Death of Jean De-Wolffe the Sin Eater Saga. Death of Jean DeWollfe and Kraven's Last Hunt are one and two and everything else is light years behind.
  13. What did they say? They said "Suck it, dude. But that is a sweet leather coat."
  14. Don't forget to do this. I have found a lot of local comic book store owners to be a real wellspring of information about the interstices of the OA market.
