  1. MM was one of the main reasons I started asking to get driven to the LCS. Before that, everything I got was on the spinner rack and I would get back issues from the LCS. But MM was an ongoing that i wanted to get every month. I think #4 was the last one I got that way.
  2. This guy was involved in the discussion from the get go. He sold an IM 55 to Anfield Fox, right as it was blowing up over Thanos in the Avengers and he took more money after selling it to AF. campbelljh3 PM 08/20/12 02:05 PM My reply 08/20/12 03:02 PM campbelljh3 has removed themself from this topic. My second reply 08/21/12 01:24 AM Today he's denied any knowledge of this deal in the thread below so not only is he not a man of his word, he's also a liar. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=5990343#Post5990343 I wanted to wait the full 30 days to post this but people have advised i do it now since he has no intention of honoring the deal, there is no point waiting. Therefore i would like him added to the list.
  3. Yes he is. He changed his Board name right after he went on the list. Shocker, I know. It is Campbelljh3.
  4. Well my world is now turned upside-down. I thought the print runs were way lower. Those are tiny for the time. I had always taken the 5000-7000 numbers as scripture. The runs are evidently 6x what I thought they were. It's like, relative, man. I understand. I think there were more than 5000-7000 copies of 1-5 at every con I set up for in the eighties.

  6. I love the Avengers 8!!! And your picture taking makes me look like Ansel Adams.
  7. This is not a PM, and I am not asking. I demand that you sell me one of those until I can get some of my own done.
  8. Is it time to put a CGC 9.8 SS up on eBay? What auction? I don't see it. Mine's already up. BUY IT REVIVALISTS!! I offer $3!!
  9. This isn't directed at you, John, but these types of updates offer little to no value. 1. Date entered into CGC system. 2. Tier submitted, including fast track or not. 3. Date shipped. Otherwise, you get posts like, "Hey. I submitted 3 books on 2/1/13. They were completed and shipped on 2/2/13. Things are really turning around!" Of course, anyone not submitting a walk through won't see the same thing. The only tiers officially late are modern, value and economy.
  10. A CB#8 just sold for 120 pounds sterling ($181) on British Ebay. As a corollary to my previous statements - as soon as I decide that the book will never be hot and move one for $50, it then immediately gets hot.
  11. I've been watching this book for awhile and it seems like its gaining heat as Psylocke's "true" 1st appearance. When I first started watching em they were going for around $50, guess I should of bought in then. I just sold one to Mayor006 for $50. He owes me a Coke next time I see him.
  12. No idea, bud. I have not seen one. Need KM, Cosimo, or Kevin Boyd for confirm.
  13. Can you give me some data points for my navi system to get to the high road?
  14. Make friends with an artist or writer and have them put you into the story itself. It's the only true path to immortality. True dat. I need me some JJ Sig Series. I'm available as well. I may need a private signing at C2E2

  16. Tim Seeley had a sweet print available at Gem City Con this weekend. He did some really nice Revival sketches as well. (some people may not know he is a great artist in addition to being a great writer). And the highlight of the Revival weekend for me was Boardie Krighton getting Tim to sign some Revival comics, and then signing them himself, based upon having a letter published in the letter column. Quite cool, and he has a better sig than Stan Lee.
