  1. Quality of production. It encompasses wrap, placement of staples, cut etc.
  2. I still have only read the first 6. I have been telling everyone who will listen that it is my favorite series since Planetary, and the best book of the last 15 years. 7-10 are going to have be really awesome to make it to best comic of all time, but it sure does make me want to read them!!!
  3. That one does leave a little to be desired. But I still have a 9.8 SS 50, so taste my Copper banana lightning
  4. I guess putting that in the description wasn't enough? That has to be one of the Australian Boardies, right?
  5. Shhhhhhhh. I've been asking for this and SS 50 for a couple of years. Hit me up after you CGC them. http://www.myslabbedcomics.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=3573&GSub=629
  6. It doesn't look like the set is up yet, but I am going to guess 150.
  7. Someone paid $7500 for a Gem Mint 10 Revival #1 SS double signed, and it basically went exactly the way the $12,500 sale of 9.9 NM 98 went - People talking about the investment side, the buyer stating that he has plenty of bread and it was something he wanted. In this case, the Seller pitched his in as well, which I think eventually happened with the NM, as well. In my opinion, everyone should be able to give their opinion on all aspects of the deal. As long as there are no insults or ad hominem attacks, it really should all be fair game. In case anyone wonders, I think it is cuckoo for cocoa puffs to pay that price for that book, but both the buyer and seller seem really happy. So it has brought joy and happiness in the world, it can't be all bad, can it?
  8. Let me know if want any more NM copies. Those I have tons of.
  9. Also, while we are talking about rule of 25 and books that may go bonkers, I think SS 34 is one. It re-introduces Thanos and is the first book in the second great Cosmic era. Also, if anyone has a bunch of raw 9.8 candidates, hit me up. This is another book that I have had trouble with over the years, especially with the "accordian warping" that inflicts a lot of Marvels from 1990 and 1991.
  10. That is what it is all about. Plus the vast majority of the folks on here are understanding and considerate. I like to do all of my International shipping at one time, and I was waiting for a couple of books to arrive from another Seller so that I could combine them with mine and save on shipping. I also had two packages going to Canada that were on hold as well. Then I got waylaid by the flu. All told it was about 18 days, which is waaaaay longer than it should have been. I communicated to the extent possible while I was sick and everyone was great. I am not a huge fan of arbitrary time frames, and I believe that the PL does a pretty good job of re-training behavior and discouraging recidivism. And it is a long enough time that I didn't get nominated.
  11. I got my #5 done a while back. I have always had trouble finding 9.8 copies of #6. Here is a link to my #5 http://www.myslabbedcomics.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=3423&GSub=629
  12. Another great transaction with Revat. Thanks!
  13. It seems the one thing that my copy proves as it relates to Mikey's is that the Stan only books were done over a long period of time. He did not sit down and bang out all 2000 in 1976. Mine is #1838, pretty far toward the tail end, and he clearly signed it in '77, so it looks like they were doing them as ordered to a certain extent. Pure conjecture, but they were possibly doing them in limited batches based upon the orders that had come in at the time.
  14. Here is more food for thought. My copy is Stan only and has a 1977 date inscribed: The envelope that it came in has a cancellation date on the postage of March 10, 1977.
  15. You must teach me your secrets . . .
  16. It is going to pop the same way Nova 1 has popped, but it will be to $30-40 for true NM copies not this goofiness.
  17. My second largest board transaction in number of slabs - also with Kevin, also awesome. One of, if not the best buyers I have dealt with. Now if only I could get him to sell me a couple things . . .
  18. Help a brother out someday. I tried to sell you the last one. I'm cheap. I've learned if you want to get quality stuff in this hobby you can't be cheap. You can try, but you'll never get the good stuff. This is only true if you want it NOW! If you have a longer time horizon, you can track down virtually anything (leaving out the very hard to find stuff) at a relative bargain.
