My problem is that I am kind of obsessed with the stuff from late '92-late'97 when i was out of comics. Generally pilloried as the worst period in comics history, I find myself strangely attracted to bad girl books, chromium and other assorted drek.

Last black box on Ebay sold for around one-fitty. I am having trouble not cracking mine.

I always wondered if someone could take one of the cover proofs that you see in the marketplace and place it on an original coverless copy... then send it to the "other guys"? I am pretty sure that is Ryan Elliott's selling account. And that was graded last month. So much for PGX saying they are no longer allowing Ryan Elliott to have access to their slabs and labels. Someone is getting absolutely hosed on that deal.

The I went through mine and there were handwritten notes and little drawings in the margins, and I had cut out some of the pictures to do something stupid at some point last week. You caught me. No scan can do that Kitson watercolor Spidey justice. You cannot truly appreciate how amazing it is, and all the subtle things that Barry did without seeing it live. It honestly is one of the best pieces of comic art that I have ever personally seen.
