  1. What's the common denominator? via Imgflip Meme Generator
  2. The Mass is the Massachusetts Ped. I can't remember if they get recognized by CGC or not, but I don't think they do. I'm pretty sure Chris (comix4fun) had a big chunk of Batmans and Detectives. I have had many Bronze Mass copies and they are really nice.
  3. Cal-Bottm was something they backed me on once they saw the mods killed the thread. Friends for sure! They were loyal to a fault. I miss them both a ton. Me and TJ had lots of battles, but our last PM thread was just a classic. And, you and I have had lots of battles, but I know we can agree that those two are sorely missed.
  4. He's going to build a chat board and the trolls are going to pay for it. This is so funny!!!
  5. There are better ones that are locked. I was reading through some of them before at a conference and I couldn't stop giggling. You should cut and paste all the funny stuff in to a new Infinite Caltopia ThreadTM
  6. See how I gave you mess, but then engaged you in a friendly manner? You're welcome.
  7. That would be a contest for the ages - Who is unfunnier - 1CoolEngineer or Unfunny Ryan? I'd buy that for a dollar.
  8. I don't think Danny could handle the going rate for CGC 9.8 Uncanny X-Men since he was spending so much for the 1st copies to market. But he did seem like a good guy. Danny is doing great. He was just a kid when he was here, posting all the time, and buying those books. Since he moved on from here he's gotten married and is finishing up a degree in finance. His life is a successfully blossoming flower that has grown up and away from this vat of fertilizer. And he made a princely sum when he sold his Copper run, so that post was pretty much compostable_fertilizer all the way around. It's not a complete week without Sean saying at least one of my meant to be funny post are crapola. If you were actually funny, it wouldn't happen.

  10. It is a one name sig, because the "mmxi" is 2011 in Roman numerals. Walt, Mort, Wario?
  11. Honestly, I saw the post and felt horrible for the guy, so I clicked the link to see what I could buy. That's when I noticed it was an eBay link. It struck me, that it was an ebay thread and I almost never go in the Ebay thread. I thought that, man, I bet someone hit notify on this thread. So, testing my theory that people never fail to disappoint you if given the chance, I checked to see if anyone had hit "notify". You do this by clicking on the notify button and if someone has already informed moderation it will show a message like "someone has already notified moderation about this post". If you click on the "notify" button but don't hit submit on the next screen, it doesn't notify the mods, but it's a good way to see if the button has already been humped. The OP posted at 11:32am (my time), I saw the post went to ebay, came back, noticed the button was humped and posted my post by 11:48am. So sometime in the first 15 minutes someone humped. At 12:11pm it was moved. Your faith in the inherent goodness of man is truly one of your finest characteristics..
  12. That is just fantastic. Absolutely great. It is difficult sometimes to find the right thing for certain celebs to sign, and a well designed sketch cover can really bridge the gap. This is one of the best executed examples I've ever seen.
  13. Thor 337 is my favorite. A little late for this thread.
  14. You jackwagons are gonna make me go try and find it. I will link the Frazetta threads in the SS as well.
  15. Unless they sold it already. With an incredible gold signature.
  16. I agree. I am convinced it is the split image cover that keeps this book and AT #1 at shockingly low prices. We are in the age of the cover image, and the split covers are big time fail.
  17. NYC has a 9.8 Frazetta that is so choice. I think it has Lee and Adams as well.
  18. Oh, my gosh. Raph was one of the godfathers of sketch covers, and truly a kind and friendly person. This is just gutting. My sympathies to his friends and family.
