  1. I am going to shoot some more pics tonight. It was fun going through all the 3-paks. They have very easy access right now.
  2. I do not have any war 3-paks, but I do have Hong Kong Phooey for the win.
  3. I will check my 3-pak. Something tells me that I have 1 War 3-pak. I covet Stu's Charlton Romance 3-pak.
  4. if that was for me bud..... I'm 58 Born in '58, or you are 58? via Imgflip Meme Maker
  5. Watched it on HBO last night. It was better than having malaria. That's the closest to a nice thing I can say about it. Having the team be drunk when they went to the other dimension sums up everything that was wrong with that smoking turd. its on hbo? I'm in! Is there an associated drinking game I should play while watching? Does it hurt or help that as a rule, I hate Miles Teller? If you drink every time something sucks, you will be passed out 40 minutes in, and save yourself the last half, which is even worse than the first half.

  7. Just waiting for Ultramanking to confirm. It's been 72 Hours. DennisRodmanofss hasn't contacted me and PMs still unread by him as of today and therefore nominate to put him on PL, thks I have edited this response. DennisRodmanofSS and I have come to an agreeable settlement.
  8. I get that the screenwriter said that. My point is that his statement may or may not be true. It could be an excuse to keep the real reason from coming out, or some kind of spin doctoring to court the Chinese market. There could be an even stupider reason than we could surmise. It could have been done for all the PC reasons that folks were gnashing their teeth about earlier. It's Hollywood. I don't really trust anything that makes it out as an "explanation" anymore.
  9. All of this is assumption that it is a Tibet issue. I wouldn't be surprised if they had focus groups that told them that Millennials don't like seeing really old people in their movies. The bottom line is that no one really knows what the reasoning was, and you can either get over it or not.
  10. Dunno about all of that...the Governor's 1st app has signifigantly dropped in FMV. Sell, Mortimer....sell WD is a strong book but the inherent problem with holding WD's is that there are effloads of others out there who have the same outlook. When the WD hoarders decide to sell, there will be a massive glut of WD's all over eBay. A lot of them will be listed auction style, and since there will be plenty to go around, they will close low...then the BIN prices will have to be dropped. If I had a WD 132 CGC 9.8, I would just list it now on eBay, at $75 higher than the highest sale in GPA.I'm guessing that'd be around a $200 BIN. It likely won't sell for a while but the more copies listed at higher BIN's will effect the perceived value.Betcha it would sell in a month or two. After that 9.8 sells, rinse and repeat. what was 27 in 9.8 in its peak year? (not peak sale, what was it "going for" the year it was hottest?) it's a bit weird in that a 9.8 goes for $250-$260 or so, but a nice raw VF might go over $100. the usual grade/price ratios raw vs. slab do not apply. I think the highest I sold a 27 for was a double signed SS for $450. 19 was the real honey pot. I sold a quad signed for $1350 back in 2012 or 2013.
  11. I have another 37 headed to CGC in the next couple weeks. Expect to hear news of another 9.6 soon thereafter!!
  12. Ive noticed that book has trended up but not that much Has been a solid selling book in 9.8 for years, I picked a 9.8 candidate at a show aside another educated copperhead. He keept asking me if I wanted that book I said I definitely want this book. The 345 in 9.8 has been expensive for years. The 344 goes for around $125-150 in 9.8 also Doesn't show up too often, but $400 is outrageous. That's more than what 340 goes for in 9.8 Last sale for 345 on Heritage was $167. There's another one ending next week... GPA is $320. Anyone that sells Copper on Heritage deserves stupid low prices.
  13. I hope you don't. I've gotten tons of 9.8s out of that batch. I always attribute the source of my books, hoping that the good publicity, and the name recognition will be of benefit to them, long after and in perpetuity.
  14. $2 LMAO Happy Meal here I come You got about 150 Happy Meals worth out of me that year. Your charming daughter helped me load up two short boxes worth.
  15. Thks Sean uSD52 plus shipping 28...just 80 (excluding shipping?) Hehe I will not sell book below usd80 in the future... Anyway esamuel is definitely in my personal PL That wasn't a shot at you, my friend. You did everything right. I am just lamenting the fact that someone will dumpster fire their reputation over $80.
  16. Of my entire McFarlane submission, that is the book I was most proud to get a 9.8 on. Purchased raw from Bob Storms at WWChicago the year he brought all the $2 Copper books http://www.myslabbedcomics.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=26573&GSub=1827
  17. Here's my response and documenting of this guys eBay shadiness... So did you cancel the sale with this winning bidder? Did you cancel this sale too? and this one too? jeebus christ how many times did you do this? wait, did you actually complete this one? OMG! Why didn't you offer this one here too? You cancelled what 5 of 6 completed listings? So why didnt you cancel this one too? Whew thank goodness here's another one you backed out on, I was worried for a second you had turned the corner. So in summary: Graphique Musique sold on ebay for $20, cancelled and offered here for $100 Work is hell, sold on eBay for $80, cancelled and offered here for $100 Childhood is hell, sold on eBay for $50, cancelled and offered here for $100 Batman & Me, sold on eBay for $94, cancelled and offered here for $200 Burns signed books, sold on eBay for $30, cancelled and offered here for $200 total So you opted out of $274 sure money to try and squeeze $700 of imaginary money Sorry for your situation, but its often better to take the sure money than risk no money at all. Also if you're desperate for money and are trying to max out your return, and have the time, do the research on values before listing books. Also with that many cancelled transactions Im wondering if eBay has flagged you at this point... figured I'd post it here since his thread will likely be wiped off the face of the earth soon... So next to his name, it says he has 19 posts but if you view his posts, it only shows three...that's a great deal of wiping so far... Yes. His threads are full of things that require copious amounts of wiping . . .
