  1. SSOC 4 Copy A. Boris Vallejo cover. 9.4 OW. Another great square-bound. Tiny bumps top and bottom of spine. Minute tear bottom back cover. $65 SOLD
  2. SSOC 5 Copy B. Boris Vallejo cover. 8.0 OW. Jeff Jones frontpiece. Small bump bottom spine. Light creases and wear at edges. $45 SOLD
  3. SSOC 5 Copy A. Boris Vallejo cover. 9.4 OW/COW. Jeff Jones frontispiece. Tiny nicks bottom of front and back covers. $85 SOLD
  4. SSOC 6. Alex Nino and Frank Mansino cover. Just a glorious square bound. 9.4+ OW. At the top right section of the front cover, you can see the light staple indentation from the book stored next to it all these years, but this still feels like a 9.6 to me. Slabbed copies of this are going nuts, not that I want to encourage that kind of thing. $65 SOLD
  5. SSOC 7 Copy B. Boris Vallejo cover. 7.0 White. Crease top spine, light creases front cover, stress lines spine. $14 SOLD
  6. SSOC 7 Copy A. Boris Vallejo cover. 9.2 OW. Small piece missing bottom spine back cover, small ding bottom spine front cover. $45 SOLD
  7. SSOC 8. Frank Brunner cover. 8.5 COW. Sparkling front cover but various dings and creases on the back. $15
  8. SSOC 9. Boris Vallejo cover. 9.2+ OW. Faint crease top right corner. Razor-thin overhang on right cover edge. Slightly annoying bindery tear top spine. I'm not sure any of these flaws are reason to downgrade the magazine from 9.4. $50 SOLD
  9. Marvel Super Special #2: SSOC Copy B. Earl Norem 1978 wrap-around cover. 9.2 OW (color) pages. A virtually flawless copy but for the crease in the top right corner of the front cover. This crease a bit more pronounced than the one on Copy A $30
  10. Marvel Super Special #2: SSOC Copy A. Earl Norem wrap-around cover. 9.2+ OW (color) pages. A virtually flawless copy but for the crease in the top right corner of the front cover. $35
  11. Savage Sword of Conan Special 1. Badia cover. 9.2/9.4 COW. Only issue is the light crease at the top of the back cover that barely detracts from the condition of this 1975 "super annual." $65
  12. SSOC #10 Copy B. Boris Vallejo cover. 8.5 White. Because I decided to upgrade here, this is my bought-off-the-newsstand copy of the magazine from 1976. Better page quality but a variety of light creases that remind me just how extraordinary the condition of the magazines in this collection are. $24
  13. Five books tonight. I'll be back with the final 9 issues of the Savage Sword run at 9 am Pacific Thursday. First up: The crisper of the two copies of #10. SSOC 10 Copy A. Boris Vallejo cover. 9.2 OW. Light crease top left front cover. Tiny imperfection on the back cover between the "who's" and the "smiling." $40
  14. Thanks for looking, everyone. Probably won't be back until Wednesday with the final 10 copies in the rundown.
  15. SSOC 11 Copy B. Ken Barr cover. Bump bottom spine back cover, one stress line at spine. COW $35
  16. Last two books for this afternoon, both 9.0 copies of Savage Sword of Conan 11: SSOC 11 Copy A. Ken Barr cover. 9.0 COW. The bindery tear at the top of the spine can't be ignored. $35
  17. SSOC 12 Copy B. Boris Vallejo cover. 9.2 OW. Tiny bump at the top of the spine, best seen from the best cover. $40 SOLD
