  1. Four Color 87 VG+. Kelly's Fairy Tale Parade. Light stains along the bottom edge. Once again, great paper. And when you open the book ... $48
  2. Four Color 69 Sold to Batarag VG/VG-. Kelly's Fair Tale Parade. Solid book with OW pages. As usual, the back covers are dang cool. $35
  3. At the very least, the Raggedy Ann + Andy 6 and 30. Hope to get that run up after a few more Four Colors.
  4. Four Color 50 Sold to Batarag Good/Very Good. Fairy Tale Parade from 1944. Stains on interior pages, and dirt on the back cover. But the art is gorgeous, especially on the Sinbad and Nightingale stories. $30
  5. New Funnies 85 Sold to Robot Man Good. Center crease front cover. COW pages. Various tears. I'll throw this in for free to the first person who buys another Kelly book and claims it. $10
  6. New Funnies 84 VG/VG+. Bright colors. OW/white pages. Pencils on interior of the front cover make for that blemish on the cover. Slight staple pull. The light creases and wear you'd expect. Brownies by Kelly. And that problematic interior art. $25
  7. Continuing with the Walt Kelly books. As I noted earlier, I won't be sending out invoices until this closes down over the weekend. New Funnies 82 Sold to Robot Man Good/Very Good. Cover detached. OW/White pages. Stains along spine. Date stamp. Brownies by Walt Kelly from the late '40s. $12
  8. None on this thread. I have a few, but nothing this early. I'll get back to you on that.
  9. That's all for tonight. Back tomorrow with quite a few more Walt Kelly books. As I said, I won't send out invoices until Sunday at the earliest, so winners can relax for a few days and see if there are any other books they like. Thanks one and all for trailing the thread tonight.
  10. Animal Comics 1 Sold to SkOw VG- ... but a classic, dated Dec.-Jan. 1941/1942. Once again, the spine issue. Two creases down the left side of the front cover. A color chip missing at the top edge, and a tear at the left top of the front cover. Tanning at the edges of otherwise COW pages. $240
  11. Animal Comics 2 Good/VG. So much to like here, especially the wrap-around cover. But I'm stuck on that grade because -- unlike most of the comics from that bound-volume -- that are a few tiny holes in the spine, the result of its removal. Pages don't quite get to off/white. $95
  12. Animal Comics 3 Sold to bobpfef Good/Very Good. The spine issue, obviously. Pages are tanning at the edges, and there are tears atop at least one interior page (photo). Again, the book presents pretty doggone well, especially that back cover. $50
  13. Animal Comics 4 Sold to Robot Man VG. Pages come in just under off-white. A cool, tight book but for the spine scuffs. $40
  14. Need to take a 20-minute break for those who are tracking, but the last four Animal Comics are going up tonight.
  15. Animal Comics 5 Sold to Robot Man VG- ... owing to the page edges, one chip of which slipped off while scanning the book. A dang bright cover. $45
  16. Animal Comics 6 VG-. The spine issues, a chip out of the left corner of the back cover, and tanning at the page edges. $30
  17. Animal Comics 7 (Apologies that I screwed up the first listing of this book) VG. Light tanning of pages, but a solid book, even with the (bound-volume) spine issues. $40
  18. Animal Comics 8 VG-. Yes, those (bound-volume) spine issues, but a great looking book, nonetheless. There is, however, tanning at page edges, small tears and the occasional chip missing. $35
