Did you sell the 55?Well I got the 4.5 I traded for in hand today. No where near as nice as my 4.5 was before cgc screwed it up, and bumped it, but still a nice copy.
I traded the 5.0 for this one. I just couldn't look at that chip anymore, and I didn't really want to sell it and start over.
Yeah, probably. It'll look good in a mylar.
I would keep that baby in it's slab. 
I don't really have any slabs anymore. Cracked 70 or so a few weeks ago.
I'm pretty down on CGC lately, but that's a completely different story.

That was my book, you are right someone got a good deal on it. As I stood with it, I was into it for just under 12k. The como was 0% to me so it wasn't total devastation. I certainly expected better. Oh well I will live. Hope that 5.5 gets a good karma bump when I run it back.I was high bidder on the 7.5 at 16K, I thought it closed, then I turned back to see that a cut bid was in, and by the time I got back to the computer to bid again, it did close...someone got a deal on that one
so, you sold your 7.5? should I replace it in the club with the 5.5?

I had this happen to my Marvel 5 about 10 years ago. I sent it in for a re label and it came back slightly damaged. Can't recall specifically, but I took pics of the book and sent them to CGC so they could compare and they gave me a credit towards future graded books. Not sure if they would do again, but the chip is obvious.we'll my Hulk1 came back .5 higher but it has a chip now..dunno if it happened in shipping or cgc, but it wasn't like that when I sent it.
Not that bad I guess..
I don't see any sign of a pre-chip in that location. Having been the recipient of your shipping, that seems unlikely to me that it occurred during shipping. Wonder what happened... Congrats on the bump.
