Hammerhead

Again, I loved this show. I also liked the Affleck Daredevil movie.....it wasn't horrible! As for Iron man 2 and 3, I liked both of them too! I think they are all good fun movies. I recently re-watched all 3 Iron Man movies again with my son and I think 2 is my favorite. I like to hate Justin Hammer and loved Iron Man and War Machine fighting all those drones. Plus, Whiplash's debut at the race track was a great scene. Stane in Iron Man 1 bothered me for some reason, in 3 I thought all the Iron Man suits were too much. It was cool looking visualy but it just rubbed me wrong for some reason....?? I can't wait for season 2 of Daredevil as well as the rest of these Netflix shows!

Oh yes. Exactly how the show portrayed him. The right-hand reliable...always hanging back after everyone else has left for special instructions. All the characters were spot-on perfect, IMHO. I loved the final confrontation in the last episode as well. Wasn't he called "The Arranger" though? Wesley and the Arranger are 2 different people. Wesley was introduced by Miller in the Born Again arc. Again, loved this show. It rocks!

Me and the wife finished it yesterday. We loved it, great show! I hope there is a season 2. As for binge watching shows...we have been doing that for a few years. We just finished Justified (looking forward to the finale tomorrow night) and have watched the first 3 seasons of The Sheild in 2 weeks time and started the 4th last night. Both great shows. But they are not on Netflix, we have a friend that lent them to us. One question about the Daredevil show. What is the Black Sky they talk about? Is this from the comics? Don't recall it. Looking forward to the rest of the Netflix originals and they can't come any sooner.

Sounds great! I have never read any Luke Cage or Hero's for hire. Only thing I have ever read with him are a few of his guest appearances in the 70's and The New Avengers. What are some good/mandatory Luke Cage comics to find and read. Prefereably collected in TPB or reprint collections?

Rick wouldn't have missed at that short distance. As Tyreese would say He Dayed. what I'm saying is we are not sure whether he is shooting the old man in the head before he can turn zombie or if he is shooting the doctor. i'm assuming it is the doctor, but it would be an interesting twist were it not. Me and my wife had the same discussion. I thought at first he shot the husband to prevent him from turning into a walker but my wife disagreed. So, we rewound the episode a bit and watched again. She said Rick turns away from her which shows he shot the doctor....after that I agreed with her. And again, They said it was the doctor: porch on The Talking Dead. But yes that would have been a good twist. And shooting the doctor also explains Morgan's reaction. Definitely.

I guess in case walkers were around at least they would have a chance, outside the car they wouldn't have much of a chance. They weren't tide up in the car were they??

Yep..... Morgan didn't mean to spare them...he put them in the car, and honked the horn. Not his fault the walkers didn't get there fast enough. Jim I think he did that just so they couldn't come to and follow him. I don't think he intended for them to be killed otherwise, why go through all the trouble? Why not just bind them and leave them out in the open? If you watched Talking Dead after, the actor that plays Morgan says he puts them in the car to keep them safe and honks the horn to make sure NO walkers are around. Then he quotes what he said in the show that..."all life is precious." That's like saying " I slathered them in honey to make sure no ants were around after I tied them to the anthill. " If that's true, and that's what the writers and producers meant then they are trying to make Morgan into an ignoramus. Oh it's true, that is what he said. It is not what I thought he was doing or what makes sense. I figured he was calling walkers along to eat them up!

I just got done reading Preacher 1-12 and ordered book 2. It has gotten me real excited for this show....it could be great. Seth Rogen being invloved does make me worry though. But he may surprise us. I think Walton Googins would be GREAT as Jesse! He kills it as Boyd Crowder in Justified. Me and my wife just started watching Justified a month ago and are on season 5 now. It has quickly become my new favorite show. With it ending this year Googins should be looking for work.....If you haven't watched Justified go watch it!

What a great show, I'm starting to get bummed this season is coming to a end soon. Think we will get Negan for the season finale? It would be great if Negan was played by the inspiration for his look in the comic: Henry Rollins! Not the best actor by far but I bet he could pull it off!

I've been digging SHIELD a lot this season. I liked Agent Carter okay but the story in MAOS is keeping me much more interested. Looking forward to next week and the rest of this season.

Thanks guys, I think I will pick it up. I haven't been disappointed by Millar's stuff yet.

Old man Logan.... I never read this story. I have really been digging Mark Millars stuff lately. Is it worth picking up? They must make a collection/TPB?

I just recently got into Kick- and I think both movies are great. They are fun, exciting, comical and well directed. I have watched both twice now and could/will watch them both again. My wife and two kids (13 year old twin boy and girl) enjoyed them too! I still have the 3rd comic series to read and will do so soon. Anyone who hasn't watched them should go give them a chance. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Wow! They are not just trimming these comics but hacking off huge amounts. They have to be much smaller compared to non- trimmed comics. How is there even a profit in this!?!?

I just purchased a CGC 3.0 OW two days ago! I'll post a pic up when it comes in! Pretty excited, I have never owned ANY of the silver age #1's!

I thought the new Hobgoblin (the Urich kid) killed Kingsley recently.....?? As for the 1st app. question, Kingsley doesn't become the Hobgoblin until ASM #238. He works with Belladonna and is a fashion designer in PPTSSM #43. As far as we know he has no thought s of being the goblin at this point.

I wrote Steve a letter earlier this year and actually received a 2 page long letter back. The signature looks just like the one pictured in the above link. He answered a few of my questions. I was excited to see it in the mail the day it came!

Wow, why oh why....I can see the sigs but "I wish Spider-Man meets the Wolverine!" What was the point!?!?

I saw the movies last night with my family and we all loved it! Especially me! I actually want to go see it again soon. A couple quick questions please: I guess I am not real current on my X-Men continuity. When/what issue's does Kitty Pride gain powers to send people through time? Does she even do this in the comics or is it a movie thing? My wife scanned her page on wikipedia last night for me while we were in bed but didn't see anything about it....weird. And next: What should I read (hopefully in collected editions or TPB) to get the 411 on Apocalypse? I do not know much about him but would like to get caught up for the future movie. Again I thought it was a great movie. I'm thinking it is my favorite out of all the X-Men movies. I'm gonna watch them all again when I have time in the near future and come back to that thought. For anyone who hasn't seen it yet......GO SEE IT, YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!!!
