Dark Knight Returns.
I seem to remember the praises of this being in Newsweek and Time Magazine as well.
Not that I give a mess what either of those magazines think.

I can understand the Basement Comics proprietor being angry, but I would take down that rebuttal if I were him.
If I didn't know the background, and read that, I wouldn't go within a mile of that store.

Hadn't seen anything by Jonathon Majors, other than the Loki episode.
By far the best part of this movie.
I also was happy to see Hank Pym get to have some time to shine.

Entertaining thread.
Two things to note:
1: Welcome back @Dr. Balls!
2: In the world of on-line debate, telling someone to STFU, roughly translates to: "I've brought a potato peeler to a verbal gun-fight."

It’s apparent some of you need to find a better way to relieve some stress and enjoy life more
maybe some of you need to get a hobby
life shouldn’t be this painful
I mean it’s a tv show based on a comic book
what do any of you expect?
I would argue that your fascination with other peoples fascination is remarkably similar.
Ignore the show if you don't like it. Ignore the thread if you don't like it.
Not being combative, just an observation.

Thor Love and Thunder made this movie look like Shakespeare.

Time for a book that has absolutely nothing to do with Spiderman...
Conan the Barbarian 1
The number 1 is rubbed off. I think the next worst thing to be rubbed off would be Conan's face.
No rust on staples. Staples 99% attached (see pics). Centerfold only is off the top staple, the rest is intact.
This looks to be in the neighborhood of "G"... yours for $120.
at 40% off.

I got to put another board member face to a name. Met Azkaban, who I missed last go around. A very nice guy, and he hooked me up with a Dave Stevens signature. Thanks again @Azkaban
I ran out of money long before I ran out of boxes to look through. Thanks again Rob @fastballspecialfor a great show and all the hard work that went along with it.

I watched it. I liked it. I can chalk up the trapper fight to: she had the element of surprise, was used to combat, and these are trappers, not brawlers.
The scene that was cringe worthy is the deer hunt scene.
You could ask a 500 hunters if this scene was plausible by any stretch of the imagination, and 500 would say no. I don't care if she had the dog trained to corral deer like sheep, she's getting one shot at that deer. That's giving the benefit of the doubt that she would have gotten that close. A human, any human, is not going to get a second shot. Running after an animal that can move up to 30 - 40 mph, and sliding like the Black Widow was a head shaker for me. The type of scene that I would expect someone who doesn't know a thing about hunting would write.
Having said that, I would give it an 8 out of 10.

I said earlier in this thread that I would have more respect for CGC if they just came out and admitted they were making this up as they went along..........
and those beautiful, crazy, scamps actually did it!
Well played gentlemen. Well played.

Seems like I remember something about trust being hard to acquire, but easy to lose.......
Aw, to heck with that!
We got us some dope acetate variants, yo!

I would be mad too, if I stood in line while others got preferential treatment, and I only got to buy 1 of these for $75.00.
I mean, I could buy some bronze age books with that $75.
