    I have to say that I was a little skeptical at first with the whole Dougie plot line, but it's starting to get there. I was really impressed with last nights episode as well. So much of the previous show I have forgotten. I should have re-watched the series and FWWM before starting this.

    I had a "nothing special" bronze book signed by the artist and slabbed. It's not going to bring me the big bucks if I were to decide to sell it (which I'm not), but it's importance to me isn't monetary. It's a book that I distinctly remember having as a kid, and all of it's value is wrapped up in nostalgia. Just because it's not valuable doesn't mean it's not special.

    "If the book is signed by me, it's been at a convention, and you've seen me sign it." Actually, not every comic fan enjoys going to conventions. For better or for worse, I don't enjoy being in a room full of people milling around, shoulder to shoulder. That doesn't mean that I wouldn't like to have a book signed by a creator as well. CGC seems like a reasonable way for me to do this. I pay a little extra, but I know what I'm getting is legit.
