  1. Picked up an X-Men 12 from Ed's latest sales thread (As well as many more of Ed's books recently).  Great book, at a great price .  Thanks Ed!

Can't say I disagree.  I understand getting a Golden Age or Silver or Bronze Age high dollar key that you are going to try to auction off.  You want the buyer to know what you are selling, and they want to be comfortable buying, with no issues about agreed upon condition.  I do not understand people sending everything off.   There are more Stan Lee signed comics out there than anybody would ever want.   You see poor, nothing special Silver and Bronze age books slabbed.  WHY!?  Modern comics....that's a whole other head scratch.

I had a "nothing special" bronze book signed by the artist and slabbed.  It's not going to bring me the big bucks if I were to decide to sell it (which I'm not), but it's importance to me isn't monetary.  It's a book that I distinctly remember having as a kid, and all of it's value is wrapped up in nostalgia.  Just because it's not valuable doesn't mean it's not special.

  3. "If the book is signed by me, it's been at a convention, and you've seen me sign it."

Actually, not every comic fan enjoys going to conventions.  :whatthe:

For better or for worse, I don't enjoy being in a room full of people milling around, shoulder to shoulder.

That doesn't mean that I wouldn't like to have a book signed by a creator as well.  CGC seems like a reasonable way for me to do this.

I pay a little extra, but I know what I'm getting is legit.

As someone said, he's dancing in the credits.  Right side, I believe.  They have a few of the characters dancing in costume inside little shapes that scroll with the credits.

There was one dancing guy I didn't recognize, though.  He was long the left side.  Looked like he was wearing a button up shirt, seemed like he was a middle-aged guy.  Certainly didn't fit the look of the movie.  Didn't look like James Gunn, either.  Any ideas?  Anyone else see him?

    Spoiler

He looked to me like the guy who is driving the car that gets lifted off of it's back tires during the Ego expansion on Earth.  Have no idea if that's who it's supposed to be, but that's my guess.

  5. I purchased a couple of books from Robert's latest sales thread, and was very happy with every aspect of the  transaction.  A courteous and enjoyable fellow, I  will definitely buy from him again. Thanks Robert!
