  1.

The PM you've shown is totally irrelevant to what I asked for.

I asked for a PM and you showed a PM that you sent on A BOOK. It's not even an invoice for the books I claimed. Where is this invoice for MY PURCHASES that was sent to the wrong person. And who is the person this invoice was sent to.

Maybe someone else here can figure out something from what you've posted, but it's seeming more and more to me that you never sent me an invoice, sold the books to someone else and made up a story about sending the invoice to the wrong person. Am I wrong about this?

Look, I'm over you selling my books to someone else. They're common books.

If you're lying to me about sending an invoice to me, or for that matter ANYONE, for the books I bought, you have no business selling on these boards.

  2. The buyer did not contact me until I saw that he had claimed the books and I was the first to reach out to tell him.

I thought I reached out to him for a payment. But I was contacting someone else about another book, overlooking that fact that this buyer we are talking about, there was no communication for about 3 or 4 days to pay or be paid.

    Hope this makes sense?

Unless you specifically state in the guidelines for YOUR sale that you require IMMEDIATE payment, 3 or 4 days to not hear from the buyer or seller is not an excuse to sell the books to someone else. Many seller will have sales threads that run for upwards of a couple of weeks before invoicing their buyers.

My request, that is still not addressed, is to see a screen capture of the PM that was sent to the wrong buyer, OR give the forum ID of the person you sent the initial mis-directed PM to, so they can vouch for you.

  3. my apologies to the seller. I if I may have wronged anyone here. was not my intention. I sell fairly to anyone. I have had a few claims that go unsold due to no communication. and between a claim by a seller and a pm I thought I sent , I never heard a reply or a contact from the buyer for about 5 days, so i went and sold the same books to another seller. I was under the impression I was in contact with the seller, but I mixed up the name. I'm sure this can happen to anyone.

    Again my apologies.

Do you have the PM you sent initially? Please post a screen shot.

I, too, would like to see the initial PM sent to the wrong person.

  4. Thanks for the reply, guys and gals.

Seems like the consensus is that it's either not PL worthy or there's no way to resolve it.

I've asked igordesign23 for a screen capture showing a PM other than the one where he canceled the sale. I've received no reply but it has been read.

The odds that he sent me a PM and I didn't receive it, AND that he deleted his PM before sending another seem hm to me.

At the end of the day, these are common books. It just irks me that I'm probably being lied to, and this will probably happen to someone else.

  5. So, I claimed 3 books on the 6th, and this evening I get a PM from the seller saying he's sold the books to another buyer because I didn't respond to his PM.

Now, I've only received one PM from the seller (telling me he sold my books), but does this time frame, 3 days, seem extreme to anyone else?

Yes it's unreasonable. Nominate him for Probation. He was already on my Do Not Deal With list because of previous sketchy behavior.

His explanation is open and shut PL. Post it now so that everyone can be informed.

If the general consensus is this, then I will be nominating him.

  6. Isn't this still just a rumor about Zendaya?

Zendaya Rumored For Mary Jane In Spider-Man: Homecoming

Disney and Sony's PC route for Spider-Man: Homecoming looks to continue as now it's being said Zendaya is playing long time Peter Parker girlfriend and wife in the comics, Mary Jane Watson.

The news about Zendaya is contrary to previous reports that she is playing a character named Michelle in Spider-Man: Homecoming. The rumor states a -script for Spider-Man: Homecoming points to Zendaya playing Mary Jane, but not much else is known.

Sony, Disney and Marvel Studios have yet to confirm the news.

Disney and Marvel have been taking a similar path in their comics by replacing characters with PC versions, which looks to have finally caught up with the company as sales haven't been that good and fans are getting pretty sick and tired of it all.

    She is very cute.

She is what 18 years old? And she already lost her eyebrows. Not sure if this is MJ model material.

    19.

There must have been a mixup, meant for the part to go to her co-star from Shake It Up.

How I hate this Disney schlock. To the point that I have no desire to see these kids in other things after they grow up and move on.

And as the father of young girls, there's no getting away from it.

  7. I got a call-back today from a garage sale I went to Friday. It was a multi-family, and the comics they listed were removed by the time I got there after work. I left my name and never thought I would hear back from the owners.

In short, they had a lot more than the one box they brought to the sale.

No major keys, but plenty of minor ones. I was pretty stoked.

Only the SS books in the bookcases and two of the short boxes in the corner weren't part of the buy.
