makes you sick doesn't it?
Greggy has that effect on people.
My scant offerings today.

A little GA DC to stir it up....
wot a GREAT read!
You've been picking up some great books lately Jimmers.
-
All I want to know is one question...
Where does Greggy do his buying?
You and everyone else Waylander, makes you sick doesn't it?
-
If he was a horse, they would have shot him.

2mins of added Drogba time
ITV commentary has instantly gone up in my estimation.
Had my household chortling to.

These are great, keep them coming.

Very nice.

That's an official publication, published by Odhams in the U.K.
I've got some Odhams stuff around the house here somewhere, stuff like 'SMASH!' and 'POW!'
Gawd, that brings back some memories
Thanks Kenners, to elaborate, Fantastic was a weekly comic published by Odhams in the late sixties, it reprinted early Marvel stories, x-men, Thor, Iron man etc, they also published three annuals, 1968, 1969 and 1970, just missed out on the 1970 when I got this one.
They are all hard to find in nice shape.

Maybe not worth a scan, but picked up a few Daredevil and Avengers mid-70's books that literally look like they came out new last week, almost flawless. Probably 9.6-9.8's or so...for 99 cents each on EBay. Good for me, not so good for the industry, I suppose.
Scan them and show us.

Here is a tease. Most were in this shape or nicer. elieve it or not I was the 5th person to pick through this box and this book was still sitting there.

Not sure if our American cousins will appreciate this book, but I am sure it will be here.
I have a much tattier copy from being a kid.
Great stuff.
Must admit that I haven't seen that issue before...but it's a few years older than me (though not many as I'd like)
Great cover btw (thumbs u
Kind of makes you wonder where the original art is for all these British books.
-
Beautiful book and I'm happy to say, it's significantly older than me
Yeah! Me too.

After much searching, finally found a nice copy of this.

Finally found a nice copy of this book.

Great find GT, love those Gil Kane western covers.

I had Shakalakaboomboom, it jumped brilliantly but didn't have the sprint finish at the end, but it is only 8 years old, had sea bass in the sweep, so will get something back.

FP should be avoided wherever they are.
I know, but I needed to visit somewhere where I could hear comic geeks geeking out...
Alas that is not FP, blooming pit.
Living in Old Jersey is like being in solitary - no effing comic shops.
I live in Newcastle and FP is the only real choice, which is no choice at all...it wasn't always this way, FP bought out the competition and ruined everything.
I remember when it was Timeslip, they used to have a decent back issue stock and looked like a proper comic shop.

Those are sweet looking copies.

I received this one too, I love the ones with new cover art, I was going to send it back due to slight over grading, but they are tough to find in nice shape.

That Surfer print is awesome!
Agreed, me very jealous.
