stroszek, I've seen quite a few with "sale pending", so it seems offers are being taken.

Some of those will be auction books that have not been paid for yet.

I remember buying it when it first came out, and all the other Marvel reprints that they did in the early 70's. Wish I had kept them.

Thanks for that Borg, the thing is I don't want to know what grade they get until I get them back(yes I am sad), so can I find out CGC have them, before any grading is done?

Any UK lads, remember buying this when it came out? Got this off ebay with poster still intact.

Just got this yesterday from very reliable UK ebayer, the beauty of this book is that the free gift poster is still intact.

And this is what the poster looks like.

OK, here's something I didn't think of before and it kind of sucks.

 

If there's more than one comic you want, you can NOT just move on to the next comic if you don't win the first, correct? They all end at the same time don't they?

You would have to be quick, not sure of the exact time, but I think you get 15-20 seconds.

My strategy is the same for any auction.... last second max bid. I win or I don't. Don't see a need to bump up price until the very end.

Me too ! I go through all the books I am interested in as soon as possible, place a $1 bid on them or as little as possible,depends if a bid has already been placed, easier to track, then put my last minute max bid in, if I win, great, if not, wait until the next one comes along and I have a idea of what it may go for.

Quick question for any fellow UK boardies or anyone who can answer it really. I have finally got round to sending 3 books off to CGC with my free coupons and I was just wondering if you get a confirmation email or such like letting you know they have received them. Thanks in advance.
