  1. The March, 1969 issue of Male magazine also contains a Pussycat story, according to this listing: http://cgi.ebay.com/1969-MALE-ADULTERI-INC-NUDES-PUSSYCAT-CARTOON-REDS-/120600209419?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Magazines&hash=item1c1455280b I'll try to find out the title.
  2. I contacted the seller. He stated that the September, 1968 issue of Male contains another story previously unknown to us, called The Computer And The Cutie.
  3. The August, 1981 issue of Fun House referenced above contained a reprint of Maid On A Mountain Or Dig Those Peaks! That now appears to have been the final printed appearance of the character. The June, 1972 issue of Men has The Phantom Of The Uproar! - 4 pages, Lieber and Mooney.
  4. I was mistaken regarding final published appearance in my April 14 post. There was an August, 1981 issue of Fun House magazine, which did contain a Pussycat story. I don't know which one it was...
  5. Best Cartoons From The Editors Of Male & Stag Volume 3, Number 3 (May, 1972) has Bust Out At The Big House! (4 pages, Lieber & Mooney). Best Cartoons From The Editors Of Male & Stag Volume 3, Number 4 (July, 1972) reprints The Newest Mis-Adventures Of Our Cuddly Little Cutie! (four pages, no creator credits).
  6. Cartoons And Gags Volume 21, Number 1 (January, 1974) has A Peach On The Beach (4 pages, no creator credits).
  7. Laugh Parade Volume 14, Number 2 (April, 1974) has Her Wild, Wild Wheels! (four pages, no creator credits). Laugh Parade Volume 14, Number 1 (February, 1974) has Mobster Mayhem! That may be the story's original printing, but I'm not certain. And the list goes on...
  8. Just when I thought that we had all of the story titles listed, I find "Sex And The Single Spy!" in Cartoons and Gags Volume 21, Number 2 (March 1974). It's four pages, by Lieber and Mooney. Cartoon Fun and Comedy Volume 15 Number 98 (October, 1980) reprints Curvaceous Cutie. Cartoon Fun and Comedy Volume 15 Number 99 (January, 1981) reprints Damsel In Disguise. Cartoon Fun and Comedy Volume 16 Number 101 (July, 1981) reprints Two Round Knockout. Popular Cartoons Volume 13 Number 59 (July, 1981) reprints Booby-Trapped Bra. Those last two are significant, as they appear to be the final appearances of our fair lady. I can't find any evidence that any of those magazines were published beyond that cover date. An interesting claim regarding artwork: in his recently released e-book "Gentleman Jim Mooney", Daniel Best states that all of Mr. Mooney's work in The Adventures Of Pussycat one shot was finishes over John Romita layouts.
  9. Popular Cartoons Volume 12 Issue 50 (April, 1980) reprints "Booby-Trapped Bra". Popular Cartoons Volume 12 Issue 55 (October, 1980) reprints "No News Is Good Nudes!" Not sure when or where this story was originally printed, but it immediately precedes "The Sexpot And The Sultan". Art is signed by Jim Mooney, no writer credit. The page discussed above is verified to be page 2 of this story. I found scans online of "Scandinavian Sex Plot" (4 pages, Larry Lieber and Jim Mooney). No idea when or where this one was printed (or reprinted), but it ends with "to be continued", and appears to lead in to "Venus And Venice".
  10. I heard back from the owner. He can't identify the title or printing history, either.
  11. I'm almost positive that it's from "No News is Good Nudes". I'll email the owner, and find out what he knows about its history.
  12. It finally did arrive. It is Male Annual 4 from 1966, and it does contain "Lively Little Lass" - you can remove the question mark from that entry. I also recently acquired Male Annual 6 from 1968. It contains a five page story called "The Bombshell And The Bank!". No creator credits on that one, but it was definitely drawn by the late Mr. Mooney. Men Annual 17 from 1975 is verified Pussycat free.
  13. I purchased it this morning. I'll post info on the story it contains as soon as I have it in hand. Thanks for all of your hard work keeping the master list up to date!
  14. Two more appearances to report: "The Pin-Up Calendar Caper", subtitled "THE MIRTHFUL MISADVENTURES OF A MOST MAGNIFICENTLY PROPORTIONED MISS" - Splash page is signed by Jim Mooney, but no writer credit. I have been unable to locate any data on where this story was printed, but it's S.C.O.R.E. versus L.U.S.T., not investigative reporter. "Why The West Was Wild" was printed in Male Annual 11 (1970). Jim Mooney artwork, but I regret to inform that I don't know who wrote this one, either.
  15. I located reprint listings for three additional stories: "Cycle Siren, or, Hand Me That Wench!" (Pussycat) / -script, Larry Lieber ; art, Jim Mooney. p. 68-71 in Best Cartoons from the Editors of For Men Only, v. 1, no. 1 (1974). "Maid on a Mountain, or Dig Those Peaks!" (Pussycat) / scribblin', Larry Lieber ; scratchin', Jim Mooney. p. 66-69 in Best Cartoons from the Editors of Male & Stag, v. 6, no. 3 (Apr. 1975). "Mobster Mayhem!" (Pussycat) / -script, Larry Lieber ; art, Jim Mooney. p. 66-69 in Best Cartoons from the Editors of Male & Stag, v. 5, no. 6 (Dec. 1974). This information is from the Michigan State University Libraries Reading Room Index to the Comic Art Collection.
  16. Thanks to all for the research to date. "Bullets, Boobs, and Broads!" (4 pages, Larry Lieber and Jim Mooney) was part of the May, 1972 issue of Men. I suspect that issue was a reprinting of this story, but I can't say for certain.
