Kind of Bronzy , or close enough. Latest addition to my raw ASM set. Just going to cut this run off at 441 and skip all the re-boots and number resets that followed. Love the clean black cover books in mylar.

Given the sudden renewed interest in this title, I wonder if some of the well informed boardies could offer some insight. Was it the First or was it the ONLY comic book to recieve a Pulitzer? Was the Graphic Novel the premiere or was it a back-up story somewhere else first? If I want to get the full run what order does the story go in? Thank for any info

White pages vs Off-white...Is it that big of a deal?
NP_Gresham replied to KCode98's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
I got most of the books in my collection with no intent of ever selling them. About halfway through I realized SOMEONE would be selling them eventually. Slabbing is almost always for resale purposes (or resto check) . Believe me when you go to sell you will appreciate how much the “WP” designation helps with resale. I was fortunate to get a “WP” designation on a Strange Tales #89 I submitted. My PM’s blew up when it became clear I was selling my books. In my opinion WP is over-rated, but ‘my opinion’ matters not when the books go to market. I am a believer in WP and centering now -
I dont blame him at all, but too many F&F/personal and you bring undo attention on oneself. I know the seller and I would have no cause to question if he would send the books, but because of the the attention my own account would get, I just make the Goods and services payment and leave it at that. It's never a problem with him, he never insists and he is very reliable, not trying to pull anything. I buy from him a lot, great seller. Does 'checks and MO only' affect sales? Is this a reliable option?

Bronze age comics that are heating up on eBay...
NP_Gresham replied to PeterPark's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
The hero movie may have been done and over-done. The wider audience is drifting away by some counts and the 'fan-boy' interest is following the rule of 25 and melting away like the over-done re-boots at Marvel. The comic books themselves have been losing interest for years. It is like boxing, you make your product too high end with Pay-per-view and endless variant covers and you gain in the short term with deep pocketed fans paying out, but you kill the wider audience. -

Unless the movie goes all "John Carter" and it sinks like the Titanic. No matter what, some fools will over-pay on the high and take it in the shorts -
Have not had the early defenders for many years so my memory fails me. These particular issues have new cover art, no? In any case this is one beautiful run of cover art

Announcing in your sales thread that “it doesn’t matter if you are vaccinated or not” is about the most irresponsible thing I have seen posted here in a long time WTF , state your credentials and cite the research or put a lid on your bad advice I hope the affected parties get well soon but don’t spread bad ideas faster than the pandemic
