It's a CGC 3.0 EP with Slightly Brittle pages.

wonder how this one will fair in comparison to the EP 5.5 that just sold?

The 5.5 EP selling only at 4927 may hurt this one, and further more this one having slightly brittle PQ (while the other had OW/W) may hurt it as well. But we can all agree no matter what it won't go "cheap"

Oh boy and the staples have been replaced as well.

Sold for $4,927 - any comments on the sale price?

I think it went for a nice price. I was thinking this would get closer to 6K.

Last year around this time you could not even touch a Tec 35 with at least the front cover for under 5K+

I sold a PR/FR raw Tec 35 with slight A resto for $5,100 a few months back.

It's one of the best pictures of Centaurs that I recall seeing. Amazing!

That is one of the best pictures in a while. Just look at those issues....

 

I totally agree! As a collector of early comics, it's just amazing to see a picture of those books on the newstand! I think this is one of the few photos I've seen with Centaurs!

 

Pulps were still the big brother to comics on the newstand, but not much longer!

 

Comics are from Feb/march 1939.

Tec 24 , Action 9, etc. Thats way cool.

I just picked this up in NY, very happy to have one in my collection and it looks a lot nicer then the grade IMO.

Is rarity (and the Action 1 ad) really that critical when determining value on these two that closed tonight:

 

New Adventure Comics #18, CGC Universal 3.5 = $638

 

New Adventure Comics #26, CGC Universal 1.0 = $7,956

That and the fact that NA 26 is one of the most highly sought after covers by Flessel.

Unreal that there is only a mere two universal copies graded.

Just came in today Probably the toughest Tec book to find and the third copy I'[ve ever owned (sold my last two). This one is definitely much nicer than my previous two and with offwhite-white pages

I actually just "put them up" today, so maybe when they are out next time. Nothing has changed from my last group shots, just the addition of the 31 and 35.

Yep, I bought the Tec 35 off of ebay around 2004-2005. Rick bought the book from me as I upgraded to my now current 4.0. Then Rick sold it to someone and that someone sold it to you I guess

Interesting stuff, I picked it up from senbi575, he may have gotten it from Gator, not sure.

That's the perfect example of a Batman 1.

Nice low grade, great colors,nice center, virtually perfect pq. 2.0's don't get much better than that.

Last GPA for a 9.4 was $845 from Dec 2010, but I have no info on that book could of had cream pages or something.

Am I missing something (and keep in mind I'm a BA noob) but why is it already at $1,400? I believe the last GPA for a 9.4 which was recent was only in the $800s?

Is the Rocky Mountain Ped such a treasured thing?

Nice to finally have a 31 back in the collection, it's felt "off" since I sold my 2.5 back in January (to fund for this 5.0)

Tec 31 (after Tec 27) I'd say is my favorite book in the hobby.
