Hi everyone, I recently got my "Heir to the Empire" #1 comic, signed by Mark Hamill and Ewan McGregor at FanExpo SF, back from CGC graded as a 9.6. I'm planning to get Timothy Zahn and Lars Mikkelsen's signatures next, given their direct ties to Thrawn's character. However, I've considered adding Hayden Christensen (Anakin) and Rosario Dawson (Ahsoka) signatures. Although they aren't featured in this '90s comic, they are significant figures in the Star Wars universe, especially with Dave Filoni's ongoing expansion on Disney+. I'm curious about: Value Impact: Would adding signatures from Christensen and Dawson affect the comic's value, considering their characters' absence from the original comic but presence in related Star Wars narratives? Authenticity: Do these additional signatures from broader Star Wars lore enhance or detract from the comic's authenticity and value? Thanks for your insights!

Hey all, new to the boards, I was looking at buying an ungraded comic online but I noticed in the photos there is a small defect/tear/crease on the front cover. It is otherwise in mint condition. What do you think this defect would lower the grade too if I bought it and submitted to CGC for grading? It is at the bottom of the comic next to the "V" in novel.

I was lucky and able to buy Mark Hamill's autograph op (along with Ewan McGregor and Ray Park) when it opened at 10 a.m. I think CBCS will be in attendance, they show on the fanexpo vendor list. As much as I prefer CGC, it looks like that will be the only option for me since every facilitator I messaged for CGC will not be at the event

Yeah unfortunately, as of this morning when they e-mailed me, they are not attending (Agents of Slab) - I will reach out to Comic Sketch Art and Scott's as well and update here if I hear back anything good or bad. Thanks!

I emailed a good chunk of CGC Facilitators off the CGC website list - so far none are attending. Agent of Slabs is also not attending. I will update if I hear back from any that I emailed if they do in fact attend.

+1 - I'm also attending FanExpo San Francisco - wanted to get some comics signed by the Star Wars celebs attending but wanted to know if a CGC Facilitator would be present so I could get these CGC SS graded.
