Kudos to October for a really nice copy of Avengers #11...and it was his undercopy too. His overcopy must be a beauty!!.

Here's a FC #165 - Little Lulu to fill a hole in the postings.
I always enjoy sharing a picture frame Lulu book when I can.

Thanks to blutobc for a great deal on 6 Walking Dead tpb's, arrived super quick and in great shape. The only issue I had was when my 9-year old picked up volume 1 and started reading it and said 'There's a lot of the S-word in this book'.
But I guess that's more my fault than blutobc's.
Thanks!!
Thanks CD glad to share the books.
As far as the language, both Walking Dead and Y, the Last Man have more than the average share of cussing. I guess it's a case of the writer thinking that makes the book more mature.
I just think it makes him sound like a ing hole....but what do I know?

Kudos to blutobc for some sweet Spideys. Bang on grading and a price I could afford. The Y trade is cool too since I just finished the one before it last night.
thanks Agro...you GA fellows have got to get your moderns cheaply to be after to afford those old funny books. Glad to be of service.

Now we gotta hear from D all is forgiven
If this:
Divad,is deemed an apology by the board, then all is forgiven.
now we can get back to funny books, right?
Was a crisis averted without ze-man....say it ain't so!!

Kudos to the Monkeyman for a couple of very nice Miller Daredevils.
Accurately graded and well packed for shipping.
Thanks Mike.

Well If the mods wont help, what would be a good ideal is that we elect one person to start a probation thread, and when we have a deal gone sour we pm that person so he can post a name, no one else, that will stop any bickering or flaming.
Sorry, but you've got to have an open discussion. PMed complaints don't have validity and is more subject to abuse. Heck, every time someone gets mad at another poster....he would just have to PM the Probation Officer and make a false complaint. At least this way if you disagree with someone's claim, make your defense...clear your name...maybe even pay your debts.
Currently, some will accept responses such as ITtravel's and some won't. But he at least has had an opportunity to defend himself in a open forum.

Did you mean to leave off some zeros on the end of those choices???
Now if you meant CGC collection....then I could answer the poll.

Those that know you Fay... ....also know that you're good for the money.
I personally don't think you need vouching for...but if others need it... I'll say
that I've seen Fay purchase big ticket items via time payments and that
she keeps her word.
Now get out of this thread before your name gets tarnished by association.

I found this book recently...I didn't know much about it's history. I've only flipped through it...looks like I need to give it a closer read after seeing the previous posts.

Kudos to awe4one for a couple of very nice Bronze Avengers from the 1st ever CGC - VCC. Deals like this make it worth while to have another one.
Kudos to finecomics for the sweet Conan #15 CGC 9.6 also picked up at the VCC. Money well spent.

Here's a couple that aren't on the list so far.
A really sweet Little Lulu - FC #120

Kudos to Iggy for a great 1960s promo comic "Engineering in Your Future".
Prompt shipping and a sweet bit O' Nostalgia.
Thanks for the insta-pay! Glad you like it! I think it's late 1950's though according to the copyright.
And so it is...the type was rather small and I misread it at a glance.

one of my favourite books as a kid. as evidenced by the condition my copies are in. urgh
I just got 10 NM/MT copies in a collection I just bought. Guess one of them will be turning into a 9.4 now because I'm going to read a copy.
Yeah, that's certainly a problem with those prestige type books. You can't crack them open without cracking the spine a bit.
But forge ahead and read it and come back and give us your opinion.
Of course you might have to wait a day or so to let some of the sci-fi stuff sink in before it makes sense though.

I'm of the 'underappreciated' camp. I read it in the late 80's, and thought it was fantastic. It's one of those books I go back to read again and again.
It was OVERhyped at it's time of release...which took a bit of the enjoyment out of it back then.
But after going back and rereading it a couple of months ago, I enjoyed it very much...even understood parts that had originally confused me.
So I'll now agree that it was UNDERappreciated.

Kudos to October for some quick holiday shipping and some of the strictest graded books I've seen. I'd bump each by at least 1/2 grade.
Sweet Books...
Conan #17
Marvel Premeire #1
Tales of Suspense #75......only 3 more to complete my Cap - TOS run.
-
