Personal Information

  1. I'm selling my personal collection of Star Wars issues #1-55 on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/126315554862 Issues #1, #2, and #42 were recently graded (and encapsulated in pristine, new slabs) by CGC as follows: #1 - 8.5, White Pages #2 - 8.5, White Pages #42 - 9.4, White Pages The remaining 52 issues are raw, stored in sleeves w/backing boards, and in as-new/unread condition (probably 8.5 to 9.8 based on recent CGC grading results). Includes rare #9 variant with Pizzazz multi-page insert. Currently priced to be inline with similar eBay listings, but I'll accept a fair offer from a CGC member. Just PM me (either here or on eBay) before using the 'Make Offer" feature.
  2. I just posted about this in the original thread, but I'll respond to your question here as well. I've had two recent submissions come back with grader notes "finger bends on cover," even though I'm certain there were no finger bends when I submitted them. I still can't find even a single finger bend on either book, but I haven't cracked them out of their slabs (and don't plan to). I'm not sure if this is a matter of a) graders erroneously noting non-existing defects, or b) graders/staff mishandling books prior to grading, causing defects so minor as to be imperceptible once the books are slabbed. Either way, it's odd that both notes state "finger bends on cover" as opposed to "light finger bends on cover," as others have posted.
  3. Just received three books back and two of them are noted "finger bends on cover." Not even "light finger bends," just "finger bends." Not only were there no finger bends on these books when I submitted them, I'm still unable to find any finger bends on them.
