The invoice almost killed me too lol.
Comic Doctor did all my CNPs.

I knew it was getting expensive when you see the updated billing from CGC.

Everyone tried to be honest with their grades but I saw your book before their comments. My mind told me your book strong 9.4/9.6 candidate after C&P. I know FMV costs you more money but it’s worth investment for future. Congratulations for owning the holy grail piece.

He now pitches for the Yankees. Is he a comic collector? I'm not sure why you bring him up.

That’s name is mixed up too.  I know he was Cubs pitcher. I am a Cubs fan. I don’t think he is the comic cook collector.

Huh? He's talking about Arthur Adams, no relation to Joe Kubert.

Adams has no excuse for not doing the commission in 11 years.

I, myself, am still waiting on a commission from a totally different artist that is now going on FIVE years and he is posting every day on Facebook and drawing for everyone ... but me.

    Sorry I got mixed up.

  4. I am sorry that you went through this ordeal.

He is 61 years old. His brother and Arthur runs Joe Kubert Art School plus he has multiple projects for Marvel.  You know the priorities always take the places.  Some private commissions may be slipped away.  His father Joe passed away in 2012.  He may have changed ever since.

Yep, he was Cubs pitcher.  I am happy he is gone to Mets.

This book has pretty much a 0% chance of ever getting hot. This dealer is experienced enough to know that. No movie bumps here.

I agreed with you.  The dealer must be desperate.  It's indeed NOT OK.

  6. I remembered what Stephan of Worldwide Comics said that he didn't know some books were so hot and were sold cheaper than what it was supposed to be.  He missed the chances to make the profits so he has to increase the prices on the books in case.

The dealers may think that book may be hot so they didn't want to miss the chance.  I think you just triggered the dealers.  I can't say if it's ok or not.
