  3. Learned from Greek and Egyptian mythologies, underground comics, the art of Francis Bacon, and the dark visions of Dan O'Bannon and H.R. Giger. A contemplation on the symbiotic collaborative process of movie-making, the power of myth, and our collective unconscious. What's about Mayan culture? They are excellent in Calendar and Time. There is Aliens vs Predators movie that has a secret of the Mayan complex structure. Great creation! Thanks to @Dr. Dank for making me looking for more specific information: Started with Necronomicon by HP Lovecraft that influenced HR Giger. Giger's Necronomicon was published in 1977. Giger’s Necronom IV was completed in 1976 which O’Bannon saw and approved his design for the movie. Special Effects designer Carlo Rambaldi designed and constructed Xenomorph. Where did HR Giger get idea of Xenomorph???
  4. That would be 22,280 USD (or $22,280). I would guess one long box and one short box. I shipped one long box few times as I recalled 25 lbs (17 kg) per box - maybe 17 lbs (8 kg) for a short box. Ship from UK to NYC - it would be about over £60/70 ($83 to $100 for one long box only).
  5. I think Carlo was first then HR Giger. HR Giger worked full-time on Alien production.
  6. Yes, I believe so, Carlo did his design for the dragon for his first movie production in 1957. He had fantasied with the electronic and skeleton details that led to his new design of the Alien in 1970's. Also, I read this book about the making of the Alien movie. Carlo did everything in those ships, machines and alien things. Fin Fang Foom was created in 1961. He developed it from 1977-78 with all bones and wires. I am sure that he looked something that gave him new inspirational of many things that looked alien.
  7. I believe your brain needs more exercise.
  8. Did Fin Fang Foom inspire famed designer Carlo Rambaldi to design Aliens and ET? Fin Fang Foom and Alien look similar due to the long neck and long tail. Your thought?
  9. I believe famed Carlo Rambaldi burrowed Fin Fang Foom for his early Alien design.
