@Casablanca @GoldenAgeAddict Your logical made sense. The original owner lived in Mason City which is over two hours away. Matt Nelson didn't explain why the collection got the name. It would be University of Iowa graduate or Hawkeyes Football or Basketball fan.

Hey Sean, I did my research on Hawkeye Pedigree - http://moocowcomics.blogspot.com/2006/02/hawkeye-pedigree.html I am still clueless why the collection got that name.

I have few GA War books have similar problem with a tear staple that end up in between 5.0 to 6.0.

That Graham Crackers owned it until it was sold via Clink. Now it's back in Illinois.
