It depends on which browser you are using. Some functions will work other browsers that I intend to test them. Two of them are not reliable - Microsoft Internet Explorer and Safari. I heard that IE will be abandoned by Microsoft. -
I have few books with slight NR issues but I don't have any Modern Era comic books but two. Maybe it has to do with the gloss covers or heavy weight paper that caused NR.

As far as I would remember that CC website was down, CC resumed the auction next day. It went back to normal as usual. Hopefully, MCS will do the same.

While watching the auction, the website was down. They currently try to fix it since 9:32pm CST. I may miss to bid one book due to time has expired while the website is down. What is your thought?

I think a bazooka is better.

That is good to hear that you are still happy with CGC overall. Your title said "I give up" got my attention so I came to help. Our community helps too. That is not a pretty sight. I have seen worsts. I rarely use Priority Mail boxes due to the thin cardboard (Sometimes I saved the large and medium boxes so the medium is fit inside the large box that become the double walls inside). I often have used Uline and other products that have sturdy walls so far nothing was incidental. Creating the invoices, I have optioned on FedEx for shipping my books to my home address so far no problem has occurred. USPS and UPS have the highest volumes on Mondays to Wednesdays that would crush or tear any packages in all sizes. I have shipped on Wednesdays while the volume goes down that was what I have seen at UPS where I work for ten years and have learned from my friends who work at USPS. Hopefully my insight is helpful.

I used to be frustrated with CGC's grading system on my first year but not anymore -- I have learned better and know which books will be sent or not --- that is my management , responsibility and I use my wisdom. i did look at alternative services but I realized CGC is STILL my best choice for my collection and selling. Sometimes, the cases were damaged. They fixed. The problems are beside. I keep sending a small group of the comic books to minimize the damage. Just be patient and bear with CGC. You know what I am scared the most? USPS, UPS, FedEx and other parcel companies can destroy the comic books even the package is a bombproof. At one point, my comic books were missing for three weeks and the tracking number never showed online, USPS couldn't locate it until I found my books on eBay. (it took me three weeks to get my books back. I lost only one book so I used it as the loss on my tax return). Thanks God, all cases were never crack opened. Those certification numbers were there so I proved the seller that I am the owner. All information led to US Postmaster arrested four Postal workers for grand larceny. Thanks to CGC for securing my expensive books. Those parcel employees always drop, throw, stack and stow it in any directions. I always worry the safety of my books through them. CGC did a great job in care of the books in those years plus all new employees are trained until they are ready to handle the rare, fragile, aging and expensive books. Yes, they may mess them up but not that in case - it's rarity. Alas, CGC will contact me immediately if the package is damaged from the parcel service. CGC is still concerning about us. They always find plenty of rooms to improve their service. Once again, just be patient and bear with CGC.

Please grade this Spook #23!
JollyComics replied to Point Five's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
Guess what? I just found one in eBay. It's eerily similar to your copy except one big piece is missing. The spine may have mold. Here is a copy - https://www.ebay.com/itm/SPOOK-23-CGC-3-0-GD-VG-CR-OW-PRE-CODE-HORROR-L-B-COLE-COVER/264259186715?hash=item3d8713301b:g:BlcAAOSweEFcdZ47:sc:USPSPriority!60004!US!-1 I bet your book may lock at VG- 3.5 at least. -
Please grade this Spook #23!
JollyComics replied to Point Five's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
I am expecting everyone will jump on me. Due to several stains, few tears and two small missing pieces. It has to be VG- 3.5. 4.0 would be a borderline grade unless the graders have a good day. -
I remembered those "N00b" sellers used "Never Opened" or "Unread". Today I don't see them anywhere. Was it just a fad?

I need covers for those coverless books: Zoo Funnies Presents Nyoka the Jungle Girl #12 (Charlton) Young Romance Vol 8 #1 (#73) (Prize) Uncanny Tales #25 (Atlas) Black Magic Vol 5 #2 (#32) (Prize) Best of the West #11 [A-1 #97] (Magazine Enterprises) Real Love #61 (Ace Magazine) Ten-Story Love Vol 35 #1 (199) (Ace Magazine) Love at First Sight #31 (Ace Magazine) Boy Loves Girl #47 (Lev Gleason) Campus Romances #2 (Avon but it may be Superior Publishers [Canada]) Diary Secrets (St John) #10 - Of course Matt Baker's artwork! 1 - 3 coverless books (Zoo Funnies, Young Romance, Uncanny Tales) 2 - 3 coverless books (Black Magic, Best of the West, Real Love) 3 - 3 coverless books (Ten-Story Love, Love at First Sight, Boy Loves Girl) 4 - 2 coverless books (Campus Romances and Diary Secrets) Now I have two incompleted GA war books that need coverless copies. Horrors of War missed two centerfolds and two wraps have cutouts and Combat Kelly missed one page. Now you have a challenge here.... I also added other coverless book that features early Peanuts. It came from my old family friend included my former coverless Richie Rich #1 with two missing first wraps (it was printed in 1960). I sold them all but one I still have it. The earliest was 1952 and last copy was 1963 so that book has to be in those years. Would you able to identify it? I need the solution so I will know what cover I really need. Thanks for your help.
