I remembered this copy and didn't realize that was Bernie's artwork.

Yeah. We are on the same boat. I haven't bought a single book from eBay for 7 months. There are too many aggressive buyers that keep outbidding me. I used to own VG copy of Web of Evil #5 that I paid only $250 that was in 2008. Now, the recent one was sold for $3110. My book was gone too soon. I went through eBay Fraudulent department few times and PayPal Fraudulent too. Hassle works included my reports to my local police twice and out of state polices four times. The average time frame to close the case was about two and half weeks. Never wanted to go through again. I had returned about 35 books to the sellers in last two years and kept some. It didn't get any better but few. Right now CC, Heritage and Clink are doing the sale taxes. I haven't won any books on those pro companies ever since the sale taxes were added. I am kinda missing the happy days in late 1990's and early 2000's.

I was little paying attention to it here. Yes I realized it was a different cover on the reprint copy. Well...I am so used to too many scams on eBay that I rarely bought from.

There was a news about a man who was caught stealing the comic books at C2E2. I couldn't find the news about it in Berkeley. Do you have the news somewhere outside IG news?

I love few Russ Heath Navy Cover arts too. My opinion on Navy Action #2 is one of his best works too. After my vote, I see it as the second best war cover art here. It has so much full energy action!

I hope this is an invaluable lesson for all dealers.

What's about Ventura Blvd? I liked many restaurants on that road but I haven't gone back there since 1993.

I never went to SDCC and probably will not go at all. How is the treatment in SD unlike LA and SF

Bunky Brothers, ComicConnect, NeatStuffCollectibles and Bedrock City are using the glass displays. They haven't robbed yet.

I have no problem to buy books from eBay - mostly no sale tax and less money than any auction companies. I USED to buy alot of books from Clink, CC, Heritage and other auction companies long before the sale taxes were added and bought very small handful of books ever since. I used to outbid them but now I am outbid on almost all of them - all of the auction companies included eBay. I haven't won a single book in eBay since December.

Huge disadvantage for all eBay sellers included myself. I haven't used my eBay seller ID for three months - more likely lessens to use it this year due to excessive fees and lack of eBay Seller Protection. I was frustrated with eBay Bid increment: You can see the huge difference here. eBay Bid increment (left column) vs ComicLink Bid increment (right column) - I can understand why several eBay sellers couldn't take the losses well.
