There's a very slight possibility that the Bone movie will come out in 2014. Last month, the director, PJ Hogan (Peter Pan), was attached to direct a movie called "And So It Goes" with Michael Douglas which was planned for a 2014 release but now it's a Rob Reiner film. This tells me that they're experiencing some delays so my best guess is 2015 at the earliest. Good! Their delays help me buying more times. Hopefully, Jeff was doing it for CBLDF once and he may eventually sign the books without a charge -- maybe a little charge like Neal Adams' normal charges are $10 for CGC SS and $5 for non CGC signings. I missed Joe Kubert's reasonable charges were first signing book for free then $5 per book. CGC's turnaround for Modern is now trimmed down to about 85 days. I have to wait for SDCC until July. Hopefully Jeff Smith will able to sign 20 to 25 books without a single charge if I have to beat the time frame for the movie being released. Fast Track Modern turnaround is too much money for my blood. My books can be graded by October/November then I can buy more time on few remaining Bone issues for Jeff Smith's next comic convention --- I have a feeling that he will be at NYCC. Any idea what is his next comic convention after SDCC?

Based on the future Bone movie, I would love to complete my Bone collection - signed or not before the movie is released. When will the movie is released? Hope that Jeff is doing for CBLDF once.

You are now disappointed as well as now am I! Jeff Smith will attend at San Diego Comic Con this July. Wait and see until my authorized CGC dealer will let me know. If he still charges the signings, that is it and I will go for the unsigned graded books. Still uncertain....I think Bone movie will be released in 2014.

Hey Bone fans! Jeff Smith returned to the comic show this weekend at WonderCon after one year off. My authorized CGC dealer called and informed me that Jeff Smith charged $30 per signing. That money will be donated to Comic Book Fraudulent fund (I am not sure if this is the correct information). The dealer asked him to reduce the price. He flatly refused. It's only one hour for Jeff Smith's signing. I never heard of him charging the signature fee before. What's up with him? I told my dealer to back it off. My ten books were gone unsigned. Jeff will attend San Diego Comic Con this July. If he still charges the signings, I will have him to sign my #1 copy. That would be it with him.

Don't forget about G.I. Combat #138 featured 1st appearance of the Losers EVER before the losers became regular after starting on OFF 123. CGC confused badly as well as we are. CGC finally typed 1st appearance of Gunner and Sarge on the label for OFF 45 after few years without mentioning about them. There is confusing about first prototype of Sgt Rock - which book deserves to get the credit: ALL AMERICAN MEN OF WAR #28 (1955) 1st prototype of Sgt Rock. But all credits went to G.I. Combat #68 instead. Of course, it is the last prototype of him in OAAW #81 before he became the regular after OAAW #83.

Wow, turns out it was WAY under I guess when the census on Universal 9.8s doubles inside of a week of the auction ending, the final price REALLY suffers. Feel bad for the seller Wow - I threw in a $2,000 tracking bid earlier this week, but had no idea it would end this low. And this is the nicest of all the slabbed Bone #1 CGC 9.8s Congrats to the buyer, though! You were not alone. I threw $2500 on it too. It was shocked to see it was sold for merely $2700. Yeah, the buyer made a HUGE break!

I believe Savage Dragon is up to #170 or something. I completely forgot about it. Surprisedly, it continues even the stories are so-so! I don't believe Robert Kirkman writing anything for this series like Walking Dead and Thief of Thieves (suspense never leaves in both series - good job to Robert for persistence!)

Remember Spawn #1 regular cover was hottest in five to seven years ago? It used to sell for $30 or more. Now, it is merely a cover price or $3 to $7. Remember that? After Spawn movie, it was dramastically declined except the black and white cover and few issues.

I think Image Comics considered Walking Dead is one of their best selling titles in their company history. This is the longest run ever for Image Comics ( I think).
