  1.

Isn't there already a hero called The Badger?

I see that now. But it's just a guy that knows martial arts in a red costume. And an american Badger is quite a bit different than a Honey Badger. Honey Badgers tracks down whatever they want and rips it's face off and eats it.

Here you can see a clip, a big monitor lizard comes knocking at the Honey Badger's door and wants him for dinner. Honey Badger comes out and says "what's up?". Big dumb lizard obviously doesn't know about Honey Badgers and thinks it's found an easy meal. Next thing you know lizard gets his face ripped off and is the Badger's dinner.

  2. This is one of those animals that was sorely misnamed. Does it eat honey? Sure. Will it eat your face off? You bet your @$$....

From what I've seen it just want's the larvae. It might eat some honey in the process. Sometimes the bees will sting enough to kill a badger, but they don't care they just keep ripping through the nest, or back off enough to catch their breath then go right back in. They get the larvae or die trying. Most of the time they get it.

  3. Yea they have a mean look. And when they get hungry they start with the face and keep going until their prey is done. Fairly immune to poison too. Eats cobras, black mambas, adders, killer bees, pythons, really doesn't care.

I saw a couple clips where they stand up to a female lion and a leopard. Honey Badger had to retreat, but the cats don't push it.

  4. I'm sure a lot of you have heard of it. People think of Wolverine right away (cause he's supposed to be tough). Should there be a super hero based on the Honey Badger? It does seem way cooler than a Wolverine. And now that it's listed in Guiness as being the most fearless, really seems there should be a superhero made after them. Well maybe a villain?

  5. Toss up to me between AS 8 Sens #1.

If I was Batty (and I am a little) for Wonder Woman and had the money to spend, I think I'd buy a Sensation #1. Because she's on the cover and it's the best cover of the three to me. But,,,,,of course a lot of other people will go for the first appearance. I would think demand will be greatest for these 2 books, and not WW1. As for an investment, will she get hot? Maybe, we'll see what the TV show does.

  6. If anyone has ever done any picture framing, you might be familiar with mat cutters. I'm pretty sure you could use one of these to microtrim a comic book. It would require practice but it is certainly do-able.

This is the model that I use for framing.

    mat cutter

Haven't seen one of those in use, looks heavy duty though. I'm pretty sure I read to trim a comic, the best way is a sliding razor rotary cutter. I have seen one of those in use. Done with a fresh blade and slowly you could make square corners sharp enough to poke your eye out. They key is also to make it undetectable (a regular trim can be easy to spot), that is what DD's specialty is.

It would be so awesome to see a picture of his lab posted here. I imagine it to be elaborate; drafting tables, microscopes, tiny jars of paint, brushes, magnifying glasses, dry press, absorene, razor cutters, spotlights, and one of those doodads that had the electrical arc walk up it in those old 40 sci-fi movies (jacob's ladder?).

  7. A let down. But also a cheap lesson, as it appears you will be getting all of your money back. I would never do time payments with anybody but a best friend. You just don't know what might happen.

If the story is just like you say, it will cost the seller too, he will wear the brand of a reneger proudly on his forehead for some time. There are customers that will look the other way when he comes to sell. So it is.

Another book will come your way, they always do. You may very well end up getting a better book and a better deal. Half the fun in collecting is the search, good luck.

  8. The consigned coins are one thing, but this one in particular boggles my mind:

Is it really possible that some geekazoid would pay this much money for this ugly hunk of junk?

Not that anybody would ever do so, but is it possible to counterfeit something like this? Like a Chinese Rolex?
