  1. The 2nd 9.2 must be pretty recent. I haven't checked the census in a couple of months. I don't see how the 9.2's could be anywhere close to 100K. Even if you do 3 multiples per grade increase, based on the 8.5 sale of 5K, a 9.0 would be 15K and a 9.2 would be 45K. That being said, on uber high graded copies you might throw GPA out the window. If a 9.6 would hit the census, then I think 100K might be possible.
  2. Thanks gents. It isn't a high grade copy, but it presents nicely and I didn't have to rob a bank. I'm curious to what the lone 9.2 copy would go for in today's market? 10, 15K?
  3. I finally became a member today, courtesy of Bob Storms.
  4. The Bats 232 went for a big premium. I thought I sniped it with 10 seconds left, only to be instantly resnipped. Whoever won it got a terrific looking copy. The centering and page quality were superb. I know a boardie must have won it, fess up winner.
  5. Those are some beauties, Bob. I especially like the SA, such a cool cover. (thumbs u
  6. I agree, Jon. The spine really stands out to me. We need Nick to chime in with a grade here. Paging ETANICK.
  7. I put a tracking bid on it early. It will be fun to see how high it goes.
  8. Nearly $140 with 4 days to go on this raw copy. It will be interesting to see the final hammer price. http://www.ebay.com/itm/190663403021?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1426.l2649
  9. Even if it is a 7.0, that is a steep price for a raw copy. I sold a CGC 7.0 in November for $182.50. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with the recent sales going up. (thumbs u
  10. It is about time, IMHO. I started picking up copies a couple of years ago, but chickened out on that 9.6 that was sitting on Clink for a while. The ask price was $1500, but when I put in lowball offers it triggered a confirm purchase at $825. Wish I had done it, because a 9.6 might be a $1500 book now. After selling these two all I am down to in hand is this copy: Top 5 Adams Batman cover IMO. Not easy to find in high grade either. I don't usually go after 9.8 insanity but this was too nice to pass up. Great looking book. Love the wrap on it. (thumbs u
  11. 227 I'd imagine. Yep. I was actually surprised it lasted that long. I wonder if i left money on the table. Either way, it's a new GPA record. Wow! Congrats on the sale, Supa.
  12. I'm thinking grandfathered in. Do some copy and paste action--and get it in here. I don't like being the highest or lowest grade in a thread, so I post this in hopes that someone like Ghost Town will come in here and post his to blow mine out of the water. Great looking copy, FF! ASM1 was the first Marvel key that I bought back in the late 70's.
  13. $5500! Will it sell? I don't think so at that price. It's a decent enough looking book, but I really have a pet peeve with foxing, too.
  14. Just listed on the Link: http://www.comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?back=%2FNewItems%2Easp%3FType%3D%26f1%3Di%2ELastUpdate%26ODire1%3DDESC&id=925668
  15. I ended up buying this copy. The staples are mildly oxidized but definitely not what I'd call "rusty" and I can see no sign of any sort of transference. It was slabbed almost 12-years ago. I'm guessing they were more strict on their definitions back then? Definitely looks like it would get both a grade and PQ bump on a straight resub. Maybe a bit better with a dry-clean and press. Regardless, I'm back in the club. Nice looking book. (thumbs u
  16. Nice book, Dice! I've never seen that cover before. Very cool.
  17. He's definitely legit. I've bought mylars from him and met him at Wondercon. Nice guy and has a ton of nice books.
  18. This one?... I prefer the colors on this one much more than the original green.
