What a terrific cover!

My reasoning for thinking the Pedigree copy will go for more is overall eye appeal and the page quality. Yes, the CL copy is better centered but the flaw on the bottom right corner, as Nick pointed out and the eye appeal is lesser imo. And the slight miswrap on the Ped. copy is from front to back which is much more appealing to me than back to front. Of course I might be wrong on my prediction on final hammer price. They are both exceptional copies and I'd love to own either. (thumbs u

I prefer the eye appeal of Pedigree's listing too. The CL book has more of that transparent look on the front cover. I wouldn't be surprised if the Ped. book goes for 15-25K more.

Wow, that's a great looking book. Was the paper stock really low quality for this issue? I've never seen a copy with straight white pages before. Tiny miswrap but better than most copies. Any guesses on what this book will fetch?

You slabbed it when it went into a 9.6 holder? And when you mentioned "oily" looking, you meant raw, preslabbed? I would love to see the curator copy if it is better looking than the PC copy. Thanks for your input.
