The guy is very nice, talked to him on the phone. Offered $500, but obviously, not close to the sale price. Hopefully, this will flush more of them out of the woodwork. 1:50 variant shouldn't be that rare.

Anyone know the census for 9.8's on this variant? Every ebay auction I've come across all have a litany of spine creases or worse. High grade might be tough to find even on a 1:50 modern variant.

I know Batman Adventures 12 is hot, been hot staying hot. But $50 for an 8.0? Aberration? Shill bid? Most sales for this book on the 'Bay that I can find over the last few months are for raw copies

Found these today, good find for the price paid.

That ASM 678 variant is amazing it has well surpassed the GL/Batman Variant from a few years ago. Man does that book have legs. I cant deny I love the cover too.

I can't ever find this on Ebay for under 150, regardless of how much time is left on the auction. And it's not just NM copies, VF & F fetch triple digits.

I looked over a collection of 4 longboxes at some guys house 1 year ago.

I made him a fair offer for the lot & he said he'd think it over for a day.

When I rang back his wife told me he'd given them to a friend to sell for him

I bought Batman: Harley Quinn of the rack when it was released, I just had no idea that it also counts as her first app as the BA 12 predates it by several years if I'm not mistaken.

I saw this listing last night and I had to stop and look at the bid price a couple times. What is so special about this book that it commands $50+?
