  1. This link was from near the beginning of this thread... @Khamul02 you can start by adding your information here: https://justice.oregon.gov/consumercomplaints/
  2. I go by what Sauce says. I have had zero communication with Mike since last summer (not for lack of trying).
  3. Positive news. Last month, I filled out Sauce Dog’s survey, and I filed with the Oregon DOJ. Yesterday, it paid off. Thanks to Sauce Dog acting as the HR Whisperer, I received my books back. Minus the one Mike sold. 1) All 9 appear be in the same condition they were when I submitted them. So that was nice. They were with HR for approximately 14 months. 2) I also received full compensation for the one book he did sell. The compensation was for the amount I insured the book for, which was more than what he sold it for. While obviously I’d much prefer the book hadn’t been sold, I give him credit for reimbursing me for the insured amount. 3) This was to be expected, but just to confirm - further financial restitution remains unresolved. A giant, massive fish-bowl sized drink to Sauce Dog for making this possible. You have an amazing amount of karma and goodwill coming your way, and I can’t say enough how grateful I am to you for your involvement. I hope Mike continues to do the right thing and return people’s property… clearly he’s capable of it and in the long run, both legally and as a human being, it's a better look on him.
  4. Surely, he'll include the $200 he made here when he sends my other books back.
  5. Thank you - I saw that too. 100% it is, here's a better pic of it I took prior to submitting (so I could compare the before and after). (For the record, I was submitting to get slabbed only to stop the erosion process, lol)
  6. Just to build on my previous post, here's the proof. The image of the book sold on eBay 5 days ago by BlueMoonAlways, and then the instagram post from the day I submitted it (and the rest of my now-stolen books) back on 12/15/22. Ouch. I had basically done my best to make peace with the situation, but seeing someone sell your stolen possessions is jarring. Thank you Sauce Dog for organizing this effort, and also to all the contributions from the rest of the community.
  7. Started an account here just to respond to this. Yes, I do recognize my book. Tales of Suspense #57. It has a date handwritten at the top, making it very distinguishable.
