That's not an answer.  Why would higher volume = greater prices?  In most businesses, it's the exact opposite.

Think about gas prices.  More people drive during the summer, but do prices increase or decrease?  They increase because they know the demand will be there and they want to cash in as much as possible.  PR people spin it as  a way to help the environment so less people drive causing less pollution lol  But CGC is doing the same thing.  They know this is their bread and butter and the vast majority of their books are MA, so they up the prices.

How do you add to the block list on ebay?  I can only block buyers.

    Sign into Ebay

    Click on the link below

    http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/manage_bidders_ov.html#block

Click the "Block bidders or buyers from your listing page." link

There's a big text box, just fill in the username(s) separated by a comma (,) and a space.

It lets you add 5,000 names.  I suggest you start with the Ebay Blocked Usernames Thread found here, then add this guy separately (assuming he isn't already in that list)

    Heya Mollie,

Just wondering how close you are to getting to these and a BIG thank you for all the catch up you and your old friends did in the expansion thread (worship)

It frustrates me to no end that I have a buddy who will hook me up with passes but I can't justify flying out there and the hotel bill as I am going to california a month later for my bro's wedding.

Just stay in Cali for the whole month? (shrug)

So, legitimate question regarding the scenario mentioned. When you get a SS that sometimes has an additional remark or sketch, the label will read "signed and remarked" or something similar.

If you had a signature of a colorist witnessed, and their "sketch" or "remark" entailed a little color touch, would that still be considered restoration?

No, especially if it was witnessed.  A partial sig is quite a ways off from the intent of a resto.

I know it is all just speculation at this point - hell, the buyer could be scamming - but I tend to believe the seller was trying to pull something here. Look at the photos for the original auction and combine that with this accusation. Looking at the seller's other slabs, they seem to include a picture of both the front and back of the slab in question, but they didn't do that with this ASm listing.

Seller has also changed their account name to thejerichomile444, for whatever that is worth.

Thank you buddy, adding that to the blocked list too.

  7. I want it to go the other way, just to ease my OCD.  9.0, 9.4, 9.8, 9.9, 10.  The result would be an absolute flood of 9.8s on the market, which would make the vast majority of my collection drop in value overnight (unless they introduced a NEW new label to distinguish between a 'real 9.8' and a 'soft 9.8')   Can you imagine the amount of money to be made on the resubs alone?  Maybe Voldy should do this hm
